After Haiti's devastating earthquake, pledges of aid and reconstruction assistance poured in from around the globe. But to date, only 4 countries have delivered on those commitments and it's time to hold the others to account.

Noted and signed. Thanks, Antonio. People should not pledge help if they're unwilling to follow through.

This should have been done in a timely manner and it should not take petitions to get the right thing done.

The world always comes to the rescue, and then quickly forgets about the devastated live within a few months. If humanity doesn't learn to pull together, regardless of religion or politics there will eventually be a backlash. The U.N. and many countries that pledged help are now bailing on their commitment to the poorest nation in the Western Hemisphere. It's as much humanity fault as it is for allowing, this unforgivable type of treachery. Americans saw it in New Orleans- george w.bush left New Orleans a mess, even today, years later, the American people got a clear message from their Republican government, in the words of Barbara Bush remarking on the homeless in the Astrodome" they probably have it better here". Yes, lose everything, get an uninvolved government, and a hypocritical Republican party, and Republican President george w.bush.

The longer this goes on the less likely for a quick and appropriate outcome. This is no longer front page news.
