Only American 'christians?' Serve the American, Poser, patriotic in the Military?

Ahhh yes, more GOP, started long ago but growing under the Trump & Pence, recruiting for the extremist, ISIL's and others, using other religious ideologies as their, propaganda, crutch by the flag waving, Poser, patriotic amerikan 'christians'!! Placing more 'Targets' on the few who do serve and sacrifice, and those civilian's within, and outside of, the theaters of war and deadly destructive conflicts!! And they still see nothing wrong with these actions and words as they continue refusing to 'sacrifice' themselves!!

* DeJa-Vu: “With no shared sacrifices being asked of civilians after Sept. 11", Decades and War From, All Over Again!! *

“It’s a very touching memorial, but the problem is there’s a cross in it. It singles out veterans of one religion, and in doing so ignored and disrespects veterans of all other religions, or no religion,” Storey said.

Controversy Surrounds Roselle Park Mayor’s Tribute To Veterans >>>

5 August 2016 - A public official’s tribute to America’s military veterans has stirred controversy in a New Jersey town.

Outside of Veterans Memorial Library in Roselle Park is a silhouette of a soldier kneeling at a cross. It’s become the center of controversy among residents including Gregory Storey.

“It’s a very touching memorial, but the problem is there’s a cross in it. It singles out veterans of one religion, and in doing so ignored and disrespects veterans of all other religions, or no religion,” Storey said.

The memorial — paid for by Mayor Carl Hokanson — was installed on July 29, by city workers and came as a surprise to the board that runs the library.

“The mayor is my boss, we listen to him, but it was not put through the board of trustees,” Interim Library Supervisor, Kit Rubino said.

Storey said the memorial violates the separation of church and state and contacted the American Humanist Association. read more >>>

The sad thing is that, for "political correctness", one eliminates ALL possible links to faith ...
Why can't we use something that combines symbols of all major religions (and maybe some symbol for other beliefs ... including atheism)?

Because I think we should respect the fact that veterans often draw their strength from their values ...
