Is this why the sea turtle population is diminishing?

There are areas where sea turtle eggs are collected by the poor as a valuable, free source of protein. Many of them would not be able to provide protein to their families without the eggs. Conservationists in these areas are working with these people to help lessen the number of eggs taken.

The item says that the people are collecting a relatively SMALL amount of eggs BUT these pictures show a HUGE amount of BAGS of eggs.

I could be wrong, but it just doesn't seem right to me. That is a LOT of turtle eggs.
