For Wyncroft Girl, her finest sporting moment came when she beat a field of more than 45,000 competitors in the largest contest of its kind in the UK.

Interesting. Don't know an awful lot about pigeon racing. Noted with thanks.

People usually think of the pigeon as being an unwelcome guest in towns, but most of us are unaware that pigeons are big business. Pigeon racing kills majority of birds and I think must be banned.
Thank you dear Giana!

We need a petition to ban these deadly races. Most Pigeons don't make it. Thx Giana

Pigeons always come back to the place where they were born, which means I really feel sorry for those that've been bought by Chinese people.

Against pigeon racing, and selling birds to China is not a good idea, their animal welfare record doesn't rate very high. Has anybody asked pigeons if they wanted to indulge in long distance flights.

We have happy pigeons on our apartment complex lawns. There are fountains with little creek like beds of water. I contrast them with the pigeons seeking food in the parking lot of next door Frys store. Karma?

Teeribly cruel so called "sport" that must be banned everywhere. Leave these angels alone for Godīs sake.
