Total incompetency and a total disregard towards wildlife. Unfortunately, this happens frequently in Florida where I reside. Their wildlife conservation plan is to kill innocent animals. Petition to be signed on Thank you Giana for sharing.

People like this are pathetic and ignorant, and the only way they see to solve their "problems" is to KILL, KILL, KILL, any living creature that crosses their path. These animals have just as much right to live on this Earth as we do, in fact, they have more right~~they harm no one unless they are threatened, in which case: what would we do~~we would defend ourselves, but the pathetic pieces of crap that kill defenseless beings are mea and hateful, and taking a life is just like breathing to them~~they love it. This is horrible and it breaks my heart to see these defenseless creatures being wiped out~~pretty soon there'll be nothing left for man to destroy~~then what??? They'll self-destruct anyway at some point, and the sooner the better as far as I am concerned.

First: How the hell do they know that the Bear that they killed is the one that attacked the women?
Second: No animal knows that its doing anything wrong, its either hungry or protecting its territory!

Bears are animals and yet when they kill someone they are killed, but people kill and we do know better and yet people who kill are not killed. Animals deserve the same compassion as people, actually even more.

L'humain est toujours très rapide à tuer tout ce qui est animal. C'est une véritable désolation.

Article in GNV Sun Fl 12/29/13 - Nick Riley executive director of FFWCC defends his agency's response as "pretty aggressive" but adds that he's open to taking a different approach. "It all connects back to bears seeing people as a source of food. They love an easy meal. We are very aggressive, honestly, in euthanizing a bear. ......human safety comes first....people come first....the agency plans to hire more wildlife contractors to trap and relocate bears or CATCH AND KILL THEM. He also stated that Bears are encroaching human's turf. This man is ignorant and scary.
