Hitting the campaign trail one day after the arrival of Superstorm Sandy, Republican nominee Mitt Romney tweaked his position on abortion today, saying he now supports it in cases where it makes people vote for him. ***Humor***

that is a good one! I see that he has a TV ad where some woman says she researched Romney and he believe in abortions in cases of rape and incest - I guess she is going to her abortion and vote for Mitt! What a poor excuse for a woman! Obama has a countering ad. I sure this election gets done next week. I don't think I can stand much more Romney nor the Romney supporters who have oozes out of the swamps and are posting here!

KETTERING, Ohio (The Borowitz Report)—Hitting the campaign trail one day after the arrival of Superstorm Sandy, Republican nominee Mitt Romney tweaked his position on abortion today, saying he now supports it in cases where it makes people vote for him.

“I would make an exception for abortion in cases where the life of my campaign is at stake,” he told a crowd in Kettering, Ohio.

Sandy, which slammed into the East Coast last night, was such a powerful weather system that it prevented Mr. Romney from changing his position on abortion for twenty-four hours.

“It was important for Mitt to come up with a new position on abortion today,” said his campaign manager, Matt Rhoades. “It sends a message to the American people that in the aftermath of Sandy, things are getting back to normal.”

Mr. Romney made no reference to his comments about eliminating FEMA, which have been declared a disaster area.

Humor can be our salvation when experiencing others on the warpath due to electoral politics--thanks for the levity to help with the stress, et al, of these times Kit. Sure wish I could send an emerald constellation your way.

...I doubt that any of us have to think twice as to what he'll do on the subject of abortion if he were to win.....nothing that any Evangelic Preacher,or any Rightwing extremsit, or Mormon Priest...such as Romney is himself, would do as President..

Do you think Romney might be practicing to tell the awkward.

Honesty just doesn't fit Romney. The truth is HE SAYS (LIE LIE LIE) that he would do that and of course we are all misunderstanding, He did not say that. He would never say that.

But, I'm the one not saying that. Oops! I just did say that but that was misunderstood. That is not what I meant. That is not what that means. What I meant was...............

Oh, what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive.

Mittens has gone through more positions than the Karma sutra and much like them, they just don't work particularly well and you end up very sore afterward. Which sort of sums up his entire political stance, it can safely said that the best summing up of Mittens is "Wow, that dude is a phony, two-faced, flip-flopping weasel."
