Think that solar power can't power data centers? Think again. i/o Data Centers, an IT infrastructure provider is in the process of deploying a massive array of solar panels that will generate 4.5 megawatts of electricity to help power its data center.

this is great ! May all follow suit and right now !
I have been contemplating how to go solar with my home office equipment and also follow through with my home when I find it and move there.. am looking for an old homestead to refurbish in that way, and would love to have nuff land to invite others to join me there ~ Peace out,

I wish all governments buildings were done like this. Would save the taxpayer a fortune but of course they would find some empty pocket to fill somewhere.

This is a wonderful idea! Imagine, data centers, government, public buildings, homes, whole cities solar powered, along with wind turbines!!! Why,we could be energy independent and, save our planet too!
