Compound 1080 is a colorless, odorless, tasteless, water soluble toxin, and classified as a chemical weapon by several countries for its potential threat to water supplies, yet it is still used in "livestock protection collars"

" California and Oregon, however, have already introduced their own bans on Compound 1080. Public comment on the possible ban is now being sought by the EPA, but any potential action will not be taken for some time. "

Long overdue, and still we wait.

And Wildlife Services needs to get out of the murder and kiss-a-cattlemans-butt business.

All because we humans are encroaching on their habitat, and mostly for those who have no respect for the land or animals that don't directly increase their bottom line.

Every CEO whose company pollutes should be required to eat a pound a day of their worst pollutants and they should be required to live within 60 feet of their worst dump site.

Then maybe we'll start doing the right thing.

I may not be reasonable, but I try to be rational and seek solutions. Since they estimate that 60% of CEOs are sociopaths or psychopaths, it would be no big loss. Also, since the ability to run a corporation requires an estimated 122 IQ and to be a competent electrician you need a 131, it seems clear that exactly the wrong people are running the show.

Predators are a necessary part of any healthy ecosystem, and the attempt to eliminate them to protect livestock is misguided, dangerous, expensive and ineffective. There are alternatives to this toxic poison! Thanks Jill.

Most of our wildlife have already been slaughtered by us and they are only deciding on this now! We are less than pathetic!
