California Gov. Jerry Brown declared a state of emergency Friday due to a lack of vaccines in a deadly hepatitis A outbreak in several California counties, CBS Los Angeles reports.

i wish i could just yell to everyone to EDUCATE THEMSELVES & not just believe what governments tell them!!!
But most people would rather rot staring at their dump-phones than learn something new!!!

Animae, yes Hep A can be deadly if untreated or if at risk people develop it. People don't consider it deadly because it has a vaccine to prevent t and treatment if one does get it and they usually recover fully and are then immune to it. However, acute Hep A is a different matter and can shut down and destroy the liver. Acute hepatitis A resulted in 11,200 deaths worldwide in 2015. I do agree with you that the media does usually hype issues more than needed. It would be more honest if they said 'the potentially deadly Hep A'.
