This is the sad story of not just Maggie, who is one of the lucky ones, but of so many dogs that sit alone, abandoned and neglected every day. Dogs are not toys or disposable, not to be gotten on the spur of the moment or a whim! they are living,

THANK-YOU SIMONE. I'M BAWLING RIGHT NOW, BUT THIS IS A HARD REALITY, PEOPLE REALLY DO THIS TO THESE POOR ANIMALS. IT JUST BREAKS MY HEART, AND MAKES ME SICK. I DON'T THINK THEY WOULD WANT TO BE TOSSED OUT IN THE COLD ALL ALONE. EVERYONE SHOULD ALWAYS REMEMBER, HAVING A ANIMAL IS LIKE HAVING A CHILD, THEY NEED LOTS OF LOVE AND DESERVE TO BE TREATED JUST LIKE A PART OF THE FAMILY. LIFE IS A PRECIOUS GIFT, AND IT NEEDS TO BE NURTURED, WITH KINDNESS, AND COMPASSION. THANK-YOU AGAIN SIMONE.

Thx Simone. I get this blog, how could I have ever missed Maggie and that beautiful poem? It is so sad (sorry, tears again flowing)that these animals are "property" they, in my eyes have souls and are the most loyal furry friend. To be disgarded, homeless, abused I could go on it so sad and actually makes me ill. They give you UNCONDITIONAL LOVE...DON'T GET THAT FROM VERY MANY OF ANY PEOPLE, when they are abused they always turn the other cheek and look at their abuser with eyes that say I forgive you. So trajic, and yet so true, these animals are treated with such disgrace by some people (especially now in these hard times it much worse) they are put into a cage with other barking dogs or a small box in a cats case, stared at and sometimes just put to death. My little rescue was abused and still after 6 months has some issues, NOT WITH ME, but other people I would really like to meed the SOB that abused her. She was deemed not adoptable and lucky for her (and me) a friend of mine stepped in and kept her for over a year until I finally went and took a peek...Well, OMG, she just kept looking at me - Of course, even though I, after two years missed my other girl I gave in...She is snoring right next to this computer and I promised HER she would never abused again - LET SOMEONE TRY I SAY!!! These animals are my children and my girls and (my passed boys) will always have my heart until I see them again. Prayers for all of the homeless animals, may the ones that suffer abuse GOD PLEASE HELP THEM. This just brings to many tears. Thanks for the beautiful poem, but now today, I will go around with red, baggy eyes. UGH

The humble hands of humans changed into tools of greed and destruction against humanity!
