The bison population in Yellowstone National Park U.S. continues to bounce back from a massive culling of the herd two winters ago. It's now estimated at 3,300 animals.

Sorry, don't buy it. Even if there was an 'overpopulation', there are reserves all over who would welcome these amazing animals back. Remember that destruction of Buffalo herds was one of the main was that the Genocide of First Nations was done. The slaughter must have cost tax payers a lot, but where did the meat go? Who profited at taxpayers expense? Cattle barons win again, like with the wolf slaughters.... (along with - gag- 'Trophy Hunters'.
