Wildlife advocates are protesting the state's move to expand a program to hunt cougars to reduce conflicts with livestock, big game, people and pets. Opponents say it will only lead to more unnecessary hunting and killing of the big cats

IF YOU LIVE IN THEIR AREA THEN YOU NEED TO ADAPT TO THE WAY THEY LIVE AND UNDERSTAND WHAT THEIR NATURE IS ALL ABOUT!! YOU MOVED ON TO THEIR LAND NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND!!! ADAPT OR MOVE JUST LEAVE THEM ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!

Why should they go away!? They've been there for ever. So, comes the man and the end... It's so heavy, that there are no words for this and many other crimes commited by people, today I've watched a video telling Talbot's to not get for their stores any woolen item cause they cut the poor shep's back raw, then they put them on boats the trip is the worst, then as they arrive they hit them with clubs in such a way that really, guess the end... I haven't recovered from it which is nothing compared to the torture suffered by those BEAUTIFUL PEACEFUL animals. If you want to check it out, right now I'm not so sure but I think is Tell Talbot's to not carry wollen item's, the video is going to leave you in hell, so if you are not ready for it don't watch it but sign cause it is really horrible. Thank you.

Thanks Simone. Like Thomas, I find this picture so terribly sad. Is there something we can do?

I agree that people living in close proximity to the cougars need to be EDUCATED on ways to CO-EXIST

"Instead of having a cougar killing plan, we should have an education plan in place, especially for people who live in cougar country," I couldn't agree more. Let's hope that's what happens.

A destruction plan? How about an eco-friendly conservation plan?

Eeesssh. Very sad picture. Proof of man's inhumanity and greed.
