I hope he bites her back. Poor fellow, abused, probably drugged and treated like this. This isnt love, it is a tragedy to see such a magificent fellow in captivity.

He should have bitten her on the nose, back. PLUS you CANNOT train a tiger. I've read of too many stories when people have a 'tamed' tiger or lion and it ends up killing them or severely injuring them.

LOL! In the past, if a man bit a dog, it was a great sensation. Now people are starting to bite tigers....

He should have ripped her face off.
What a stupid thing.

Of course, if he did bite her back we all know what the consequences would be; one more "dangerous" animal that would have to be put down. The part about the barbarian who killed and ate the last wild Indochinese tiger in China is appalling.
As stupid as that lady is, and as cruel as that whole situation is on a whole, I hope she really does love that tiger so at least it has some iota of comfort and affection in it's inhumane situation.
I can't stop staring at that amazing, gorgeous face. (The feline, not the female haha)

Reading comments, I can't believe what you people are saying. This Tiger is LOVED and well cared for. The Tigers in the wild may not survive. Read the article - the wild Tigers in China are dying out.The only way that many Animal species are going to survive at all (unfortunately!!!) is in the care of humans. Look at the pictures. That Tiger loves that woman! Especially the last picture, the Tiger is physically reaching out for affection. Those pictues show total love and trust between two beings. Why should the Tiger rip off her face or in any other way harm her? I would certainly rather see ALL wildlife in the wild and none in captivity, but look at the reality.

Maneater My *
This gracious animal will soon be totally extinct thanks to the Chinese human pollution and their archaic ritual belief that tiger parts make a sex drive (as if they need it with all their polluted millions of peoples)

The tiger was probably sedated with no teeth and claws.

Just cross the embarkation line into Asia to find cruelty beyond imagination.

Cats and humans can form a very close bond, I would guess it is a male tiger.

I wonder what this woman thinks of her race being behind the demise of these tigers ? And you're right , Christina P. ! We all know what would happen if the tiger DID bite her ... the animal always loses !

I think that is wrong. Tiger should not be abused. they are beautiful animals and belongs in the wild. I dont believe in abuse to animals. i know its wrong and make them feel suffer. Not right how it feel if it was you the trainer instead of tiger biting your nose. u would be upset if it happened to you right. that wrong .

No matter what animals they are and should not be abused be cruel to. God made t hem for a reason to keep our earth healthy .

Beth has a point, but if so then the animals should be in an animal sactuary where there can be at least some resemblance of the outdoors and a bit of freedom, rather than performing ridiculous and unnatural animal tricks for the entertainment of people.

I get the impression that some people think that the trainer is actually biting the Tiger in a painful way. I don't think this is the case at all. I think the trainer is giving the Tiger a playful, loving nip like many people do with their baby. It's not painful, it's a gentle show of affection. This Tiger does not look drugged, it does not appear abused. Look at the pictures, look at the body language of both Tiger and trainer. We don't have any idea how this Tiger is housed. But, I would dare say this Tiger wants for nothing, including good exercise and freedom to move. Look at the last picture in the article, The Tiger has muscle tone, the Tiger is exercised. I'll say it again - if this Tiger had been raised in the wild - it would most likely be dead!

c'mon. all cats give love nips to each other and to their special humans. she is communicating the total ease and affection two cats would share in a social grooming situation.
