Very sad. China should take better care of its inhabitants, humans AND animals.

Somebody needs to stop this before more die. They need to be punished for their actions.

There's barely any left and the ones that should be taken care of are allowed to die in this manner?! Appalling!

It appears that a lot of animal cruelty originates in China. Why is that, do you suppose? It is quite sickening! These people eat dogs and cats and who knows what other sort of animals that we keep as pets. Wasn't it from China that the melimine poisoning came and somehow got into our pet food industry in America? What's wrong with these people? Do they only think of the quick buck, the fat wallet, and how not to spend money?

China? Punish for what? They are communist, and according to communism, everything belong to the country, so are the lives of those animals and China people.

If people want to stop China from doing more harm, bring down the communism, then let the young, educated generation rebuild better China.

That is...if people power can meet the brute strength of the gigantic country....

COMMUNIST CHINA IS THE WORST CRIMINAL NATION ON THE PLANET. Where was any government oversight? This was a repeat offense.

The Russians need to get some clever ex-KGB agents or enlist the help of the Israeli Mossad, go over the border in the middle of the night, kidnap all the tigers and take them back to Russia where they are well cared for, being under the supportive personal eye of Vladimir Putin himself.

What the Chinese do NOT need is aphrodisiacs

Uosepha, bringing down communism is fine, but what each of can do is to stop buying Chinese junk at Wal-Mart and elsewhere. If Wal_mart was a separate country it would be Communist China's six largest trading partner and their ships and trucks contribute the largest amount of pollution to California seaports.

I know it's difficult to avoid buying their crap. The mercahdise is NOT cheap, it's actually expensive since it almost never works or lasts and must be replaced often. But try. For example, I buy sardines from Vitarroz, the large US "latino" food company importing them from Ecuador. Then I noticed a can from the same company with an almost identical label but, curiously for a "latino" company, the text was all in English rather than bilingual. Examination of the small print revealed "Product of China." I put that can back and e-mailed the company.

Outrageous! If they could not feed the animals they should have been send to zoos who could have. Just add it to the long list of human and animal rights abuses that fill the news on an almost daily basis.
