The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has released a draft assessment of the potential economic impact designating critical habitat for the endangered polar bear would have on human interests

Too bad, we can't look for oil there... Why should we put human interests above the life of the polar bears, and other wildlife? It's their habitat, and we can't keep using oil forever; not to mention protecting them is the 'right' thing to do, a reason so often overlooked.

Obviously Polar Bear protection is of the utmost impoprtance and like most everything with animals it wouldn't take much to help them. Also we need to keep pressuring Canada, who continues their dismal attitude toward most all animals.

Cheap at 100 times the price. The poor polar bear is the new "canary in the mineshaft." Wake up, you idiot human beings.

Unfortunately, it is screamingly obvious Corporate interests are disparate from human (and wildlife's) interests.

We need to move from the Industrial Revolution into an Environmental Revolution. If everyone cut their driving in half, that would be a great start...

Among the many polar bear populations worldwide, about a stable, with a reduction of approximately about growing. The increase in sources large indigenous people, and remember that living in polar bear habitat for a long time before we started to vomit CO2.

The totalled projected impact has been calculated at $669,000 over this 29 year period, a relatively small amount, and makes the possibility of critical habitat designation for this critically endangered species a definite possibility.

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- The total cost of the inauguration of the 44th President of the United States will likely top $150 million by the time the galas and streamers and porta-pots are all cleaned up.

IT IS ALL A MATTER OF PERSPECTIVE !!!!!! Thanks Simone P.S. I still think they are working on the porta-pots
