Tilikum was captured from the wild and taken from his family in 1983. November marks the 27th anniversary of his miserable life in captivity. He has spent most of his years at the SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida. He is the largest male orca in captivity,

noted and signed. It is heartbreaking to think of this incredible animal languishing alone in a place like this. To keep him isolated and held captive like this in order to get their money out of him through breeding use makes me sick. 27 years is a long time for him to be imprisoned. I hope against hope that he will be released to an ocean sanctuary.
