THIS amazing photograph shows an embryonic elephant in the womb - with its tiny trunk clearly showing. The image of George, Whipsnade Zoo's latest arrival, was captured 19 months before he was born.

Baby sweet. I'm sure he'll be a joy to his mum when he is born. Eliies love large families.

I do not support zoos or circuses unless the zoo is involved in the preservation of the species and not just putting animals in small enclosures to make money. They must be properly housed and cared for.

What a miracle. Imagine only three months gestation and this elephant is clearly distinguishable as an elephant. Poor baby will be born into captivity however. Hope they have a huge exhibit.
All life is precious.
