Honey bees are in dire straits. Since 2006, some beekeepers have reported losing 30 to 90 percent of their hives to Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD), a phenomenon where bees leave their hives and never return. While experts think many factors are

I've read many articles about this link in the last few months, and I believe that a few European countries have already banned the use - and if there is even the slightest doubt about such a pesticide, surely commonsense would prevail and it be banned worldwide. . . . but maybe we are getting a good insight into governments, their offices, how they operate, and money changing hands. Why else would anything that threatened our future so drastically be allowed to continue? Disgraceful. Products can't be sold unless they're licensed, surely. . . . .?

i think that these pesticides are deliberate, they are intended and by design like with everything else its all part of a plan by the world club elite, and although i am certain that there is a plan i confess that i do not know what that plan is,why you may ask are monsanto allowed to commit genocide by polluting every country on this planet without there being an accounting for it and they are the ones who have created the pesticide's just like they created agent orange, and although i dont know why they do it there is one thing that is very clear and that is that they are not human.

Oh, bee hive, and just do the right thing!! Pesticides do not belong in our environment, and if we are to have any environment left at all, we must have our honey bees. We used to have lots and lots of them in our town, but they've disappeared, and now the good people who gather it all up for us to eat, just sit and wait by the window, hoping they will one day return. So sad.

Signed as soon as I saw this, Have read articles about this pesticide before by Bayer. They have no right to offer for sale pesticides that have not had long range testing done. Time and time again our environment has been bombarded by dangerous chemicals and many species have been decimated by the effects - DDT, Agent Orange, etc. It stands to reason that if crops are sprayed with pesticides, the honey bees are going to absorb the poison. This must affect their immune systems at the very least! - Einstein said that without honey bees the world has four years to exist. We need to wake up and make sure these powerful pharmaceutical companies tow the line! Chemicals that interfere with the world's food supply need to be banned permanently!

Done! I so enjoy watching the bees work and was thrilled when a colony took over one of my bird houses. That thrill did not last long, as the bees all disappeared after about 2 months and never returned. I don't know if it was a case of CCD or just the bees moving on, but I really loved watching them while they were there.

Yes, very important, as others are saying. WHEN are we ever going to have an EPA that ACTUALLY does what its initials proclaim?!? Obama's EPA doesn't seem to be a lot better than Bush's, which has been quite a shock to me.

People have always been afraid of bees and will kill them because they are afraid of being stung. Yes, some of us are allergic to their stings so that is a problem. But they have a very BIG job for such a little creature.

They not only help make honey, and that's what people think is their ONLY job, but it's NOT. They help pollenate our flowers and our vegetable. So one little guy has a big job and alot of people don't apreciate them for what they're worth.

Since I moved in an apartment and have no garden to have beds and beds of flowers and vegatables, I have learned to pollenate my own flowers. So I do APRECIATE THOSE LITTLE GUYS A GREAT DEAL AND EVERYONE ELSE SHOULD, TOO.!!!!

Now I grow everything in window boxes and pots. I still have my herbs, flowers, only 1 peper plant, 1 tomato plant and 1eggplant left. I get wonderful light in my bedroom so I made it a point to grow what every I could and as much as I could. Now I'll start getting ready for the next batch of vegetable plants ready so i'll have fresh produce infour and a half months. There's NOTHING like FRESH PRODUCE that's organic. Try it, it's a wonderful treat!!!

I signed. I didn't have very many bees this summer. I don't know why. Not enough flowers? Possible. Pesticide drift? Also possible. Anyway, I had to pollinate my winter squash myself. I do kill pests with methods no bug can ever develop a resistance to such as drowning in soapy water or stomping on them.

Even on the small scale on which I grow vegetables I have seen the decline in pollinating insects over the last three or four years. Beans, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, marrows etc come to flower and that's that; there are no bees to pollinate them. I can venture into my garden on a quiet summer weekend and hear nearly nothing - so few birds and hardly a thing buzzing but the occasional bluebottle. When I was a child I used to stand before the nearby Egypt Wood and be deafened by birdsong so loud it was almost symphonic while every flower head was a bustling concourse of honey bees and bumbles. The cause (or causes; there may be many factors involved) of CCD are not known with certainty but it makes plain sense to stop the production of pesticides if there is even a suggestion that their use could be detrimental to biological processes on which, not only humans, but much of life on Earth depends. Species have come and gone, extinctions have happened - it's the way of things; but life goes on and Nature survived and managed it all without the interference of this arrogant biped who seems intent on leaving a dead world as the only memorial to his existence.

It appears, sadly that many remain blind to the fact that we are depleting our planet of almost all of what our Creator gave us as a gift. Instead of nurturing and replenishing what we have, GREED has caused the decline of forests, insects, many wild animals, infrastructues and our precious oxygen to name just some. Only if those people wake up to the truth and reality of many things will we have a chance to save our precious planet. WAKE UP people before it's too late.

Be Blessed! Stay Blessed!
Peace, Love and Light ;-)

If our precious bees all die - i.e. killed by horrid humans - then why do they continue to use poisons?
Perhaps they should be sprayed with poisons, .
give them a little taste.
