For Amanda and her family, who lost everything in the devastating Queensland floods, being reunited with their four-legged friend meant the world. Last week, Amanda posted a message about her dog, Aggee, on the animals lost and found in Queensland

Thanks Simone. It's amazing more of our furry and feathered friends have not died.

I volunteer for the Brisbane shelter of the RSPCA, while horrible for the vast majority of the animals the ones that were in the evacuated shelter are better off then ever. All of them are currently in nice homes and 20 that I know of have already been adopted :D

The RSPCA workers are doing everything possible and hundreds of people have helped clean up the shelter so should be up and running in another week or two hopefully. If you can please donate money is needed to save more lives.

and a few weeks ago there were people shooting roos as pests! Poor roos are having a hard time, maybe people will be more mercifull towards them for what all they are enduring. People can drive away, animals are stuck to fend for themselves.
Thanks Kara C for helping volunteer!

This is tragic. The news doesn't cover the distruction in my country like it should. Hope the animals survive and come out stronger.
