Riley was a real handful. The rambunctious puppy would bowl the children over, and he had altogether more energy than his family could cope with. He'd already been given up once. His previous family, an elderly couple, just hadn't been able to cope

More people need to open their eyes to the potential in ALL Living Beings...and STOP assuming such a Negative Outlook.
THIS is one of those Happy Endings...because someone could SEE past assumptions

Well done Riley, Wonder how many other dogs that are put to sleep every day could be a dog like Riley. Good luck to both dog and new partener for the future.
