Rescued from a kill shelter in North Carolina, Ava was a gentle, timid Pit mix puppy. As Sarah was unable to keep her, Ava was transferred to a foster home in Ohio. It was there that Ava lost her life.

This dear young dog was fostered out and it was there that her life was viciously taken. She evidently killed some chickens at the fosters home so for this, she was savagely drowned!

Thank you for posting. Yes, disgusting. One of my dogs would have killed them too. Some dogs do that. And so what. Cats eat rats and birds. Coyotes kill cats. Birds eat bugs. IDIOTS. And we kill everything.

The morons who were supposedly caring for Ava should have been around to monitor the dogs with the other creatures. If the humans were doing what they were suposed to, this would not have happened. Yet again, a creature suffers because humans don't care.

Ava was murdered for being a dog and doing what dogs do. The fosters were at fault for not teaching Ava to leave the chickens alone, so how about we drown them.

Signed. If that were my boyfriend there wouldn't be much left of him. The lack of humanity in the world is sometimes shocking.

deeply sad. how dare someone take this little dog's life for behaving like a normal dog. She should not have been unsupervised.

I sincerely hope he gets his just deserts, one way or another. I'm beginning to think animal vigilantes might be a good idea, dishing out punishment when the justice system fails. I'm saddend to read more and more horrific abuse stories day by day and it seems to be getting worse. The human race sure is sinking fast into the cess-pit of inhumanity and lack of compassion and moral ethics. How sad that the protector turned out to be worse than the abuser.

I hope that those foster parents are never allowed to foster any more dogs.
