Signed , of course. Tibet and gold mining, two of the world's ongoing big problems, combined into one story. Grim.

'KANATA' , HIGH .Himalayan ,pristine TIBET is the one Country nearest PARADISE and nearest the sources of CRITICALLY ESSENTIAL WATER SOURCES,Ganga,Brahmaputra,Mekong and even Hwang-Ho ('Yellow ho) to countless MILLIONS in South and East Asia.PLEASE DO NOT POISON THEM WITH TAILINGS AND DIMINISH THEIR 'CATCHMENT' and lifestyle features that contribute the survival of Communities which depend on them if for nothing else but THEIR AESTHETIC BEAUTY AND TOURIST LURE !!!!

These people should get proper worth from their natural resources, not have them stolen by Chinese or mined by foreign greedy abusive corporations. If this was helping fund Tibetian freedom, it would be one thing, but it sounds more like foreigners stealing Tibet's resources to me...

Thank you Simone, little comes out about Tibet. The Chinese use it as a place to raid and destroy. The people are having their culture erased, their land stolen, their animals slaughtered and are treated as less than third class citizens. There is no outcry at the UN or from any other country, they believe that the Chinese have a right to do this.

This is an absolute breach of human rights, something that China is so good at and does continually yet there is no outcry against them. They are probably not a lot better than Syria or Lybia but there have not been any sanctions for Tiananmen Square since it happened in 1989 nor are there outcries when a journalist is imprisoned for speaking out. Perhaps we should stop buying their cheap poisonous tat!

Tibet is such a beautiful country that just hasn't recieved the international support it deserves. Yet another example of China being left to do whatever the hell it wants without fear of repercussions. It's a disgrace. This may be one way that China could be forced to take notice.

It just shows how much China "cares" about Tibet!! The problem is the Dalai Lama's ancestors were terrible rulers too, so in a way, the poor Tibetans never knew peace :'(
Signed. Thanks, dear. *cyber hug*

If there is any screwball, that doesn't realize that we have enough gold, already extracted in this world, you are a lunatic.

Like it or not, we, as a people, buy gold because we want to impress other people; otherwise, we wouldn't make this decision.
I'm not very critical, because I am guilty of buying silver and white gold.
There is so much gold in the world, that the people in charge of extracting the gold, keep it flowing slowly into the market, so as to keep the price high.
