Signed. In general, dry cleaning is unnecessary anyway. In my experience, almost anything that says "Dryclean Only" can be either washed in cold water with laundry discs(as opposed to harsh detergent) on gentle cycle or simply handwashed. Suits can be spritzed with white vinegar, which naturally kills bacteria (don't worry the odor dissipates quickly) and line dried in the fresh air. Steam cleaners are also effective.

If they can dry-clean without using harmful chemicals, why use them?

I don't dry clean my clothes, so I don't have any use for a dry cleaners and never have. Line dried clothes is better than dry cleaning any day of the year. Healthier too.

NOTED & SIGNED. Here in Minnesota we have a wonderful new "Green" dry-cleaning company called Mulberry's. I am lucky to live just 3 blocks away from our local branch store. They do *tremendous* cleaning & their prices are reasonable. Try them!! :)

I wonder how I've managed to live this long, 69 Halloween, when everything is dangerous, poisonous and addictive.

I'm even addicted to breathing. Maybe that's it. I keep on breathing, in and out , in and out, one breath at a time. lol

Most cloths one buys today can be washed at home, far too many chemicals used at the dry cleaners...
