(FOIE GRAS BANNED) CALIFORNIA -- Chefs may call it a delicacy, foodies may call it exquisite, but animal activists are up-in-arms over it.

Good! Foie gras isn't even technically food, it's a byproduct of shameless unforgivable animal cruelty.

It's about time! As a child I loved chicken liver pāte and duck liver pāte (foie gras), particularly when my grandmother made it. I learned to make it too and got rave reviews. However, 20 years ago I heard about the terrible practice of force feeding chickens, geese and ducks to make their livers bigger for these reasons and that was it for me! I now only make vegetarian pāte.

Thank you Simone! First California took care of Shark Fins, and now this! Finally, they are doing something right...Now, they need to help the Shelters, and find Jobs for the homeless!
