Iím almost starting to like Michele Bachmann and feel sad that her campaign will still come to an end. No other presidential contender has ever provided us with such an endless stream of comic relief. Each new gaffe leaves the last one in the dust.

Thanks Tom. So Reagan was an economist? His "trickle down" sure has worked well Michelle.

I won't be missing her, not whatsoever. Each one of these clowns is worse and more embarrassing than the other, as they play "hot potato" in a circle of poll insanity, each one holding the seat of attention for a few seconds before it moves to the next and so on, and back again.
Higher taxes eh? Isn't that like the snake who talks out of both sides of its Satan or something like that? 666...... turned right side up..., upside down? Someone, please, hit her upside the head.

......well, you know, she has the "headaches".......She woke up from a really bad one and thought she was still working for the IRS. Won't Marcus make a fabulous First lady? THX

You have to wonder how this woman made it through law school! And why do so many people idolize a man who shared top billing in his movies with a trained monkey named "Bonzo"? Somewhere along the road, she lost half her wit --the smarter half, at that. And yet, even as a half-wit, she has her supporters...

What makes her comments so crazy is you know she has no idea how high taxes were under Reagan or she would not have said this. Reagan raised taxes around 18 times during his presidency & these GOP nominees seem not to know this. He had no choice as he ran the deficit up so much. Yet still he is their hero. Bachman is so ignorant it is laughable. Anyone understand why Cain is surging in the polls? I don't get it at all.

Reagan was her favorite "Economist"?? That says it all. Reagan's plan worked?????!!!!! Reagan started our downward spiral into debt! I don't know what dimension Bachmann is from, but she needs to go back. Her village misses her.
See the documentary "INSIDE JOB", it explains what and how it all went so terribly wrong. Pass it on.

"Raising taxes to where they were when Ronald Reagan was president."

Hmm, interesting.

Dawg.......Can someone just put her out of our misery......please.

Why they all continue to worship at the feet of the B Movie God, I have no idea...but it's embarrassing and pathetic. I guess they can genuflect to him because they are all revisionists when it comes to facts and history. That or selective amnesia....I dunno. economist.....please tell me when I can get up off the floor from laughing.

Reagan tax plan when the rich were paying more of their fair share. I like what the one commentor said at the bottom of the article: "Dems should Repackage it as the Ronald Reagan Renew America Tax Plan" and dare the GOP to vote against it. "

OMG..she's Brilliant!;) Quick, let's get Barbie elected so she can push tax on the rich back up to 50%!!!!:) Of course, some MAN will tell her she can't do that.. Remember when Bu$h $r. called Reaganomics Voo-Doo Economics? An ex-chief of the CIA certainly would know Voo-Doo when he saw it!;) *heavy sigh*... I can't really understand how Cain is still in the race either.. TeaBaggers must have some qualms about him - even if he promises free pizza on Wednesdays (that's the day Meals-on-wheels have had to drop free lunchs in Marion Co., IL.).

They should raise the tax on the rich only and make them pay up. We've done our share of tax paying. in fact too much already. Bravo Roseann D.

And they say blondes are dumb! (BTW, I am, or at least was, until I went gray, a blonde!) Bachmann really does take the cake. When did Reagan become an economist? I didn't think he could even spell the word. He had the intelligence of a jelly bean, and they aren't all that intelligent since they get eaten all the time. Hmmmm jelly beans, I haven't had one in years and now I want some red and white jelly beans!

Like Upton, I wonder what the middle class tax rate was when Reagan was around, but certainly a 50% tax rate for those at $250K/yr sounds good to me. Almost sounds like Canada!

Oh Terrie, you crack me up! ROFLOL!!!

She'll be OUT of the race by Christmas, as long as NH has their primary in Dec, as previously said.

Great idea, except for one thing that has eluded her. Reaganomics didn't work then and it will not work now.

Only the GOP candidates would be so stupid as to do the same thing over and over again in the hopes that they will get different results.

"You have to wonder how this woman made it through law school!"

This explains that:
In 1979, Bachmann was a member of the first class of the O. W. Coburn School of Law, then a part of Oral Roberts University. While there, Bachmann studied with John Eidsmoe, whom she described in 2011 as "one of the professors who had a great influence on me". Bachmann worked as a research assistant on Eidsmoe's 1987 book Christianity and the Constitution, which argues that the United States was founded as a Christian theocracy, and should become one again.

Thanks All!! Kudos to Wayne.

I guess there's a reason we call her Batshit B. ;-)

Wayne, thank you for that information. I'm sure it explains how she earned her degrees. But she still had to take and pass her state's bar exam. Maybe that's one mystery we'll never figure out. If anything would make me believe she has an "in" with God, that would be it! Or maybe it was just a case of "dumb luck" (or the luck of the dumb).

I wish they'd just tax all of the politicians and wealthy. They seem to be the ones who got us in these messes. Now lets make them clean the budget and all other messes themselves. This political race in a joke. I wish the ones who are running, would literally do that, keep running till they run off the Earth. So many of them running, yet so few to choose from.
Thanks TomCat

Bachmann, like most of the GOP Presidential field, has never taken a realistic look at the pluses and minuses in her life. This is a true case of ego being the true reason for her running for president. Instead of listening she wants to be the center of attention and look what it has gotten her. The longer her campaign lasts the more pathetic she looks.

Oh? Like tax the wealthy or are they out of the equation? She needs a tiny bow on top of her hair bump, then she would have some credibility. Remember how well loved and trusted old Ronny was. Doesn't take much to fool some of the people all of the time.

TomCat S (123)

Thanks all. Gloria, it doesn't take much to fool Bachmann any of the time.;-)
