Interesting! The Republican National Committee is crafting its upcoming convention on a theme created from a remark made by President Obama that they distorted to fit their needs. And the irony is that the facility in which the convention will take place is tangible and undeniable proof that the President's statement --before they took the liberty of changing its context-- was absolutely correct! Greed, lies and hypocrisy should be the theme of the upcoming Republican National Convention! No preparation would be required.

Since taxpayers financed almost two-thirds of the cost of constructing the Tampa Bay Times Forum arena, can we somehow keep them from using it?

GREAT submission, Tom! Thanks! I hope your tests are going well and that you're getting good results. Please keep us posted!

"If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you help...."Words spoken by the President himself.
Now, how can Obama face Romney will all his targeting Romney's wealth? Unless you were born into it, wealthy people like Romney did have help.
Is Obama still going to make an issue out of Romney's money?

You really have to love the irony of the GOP convention having a theme centred around Mr Obama's out of context comment "You didn't build that" in a stadium that was built mostly with government funds.

That Faux Noise video is such a distortion in and of itself. Any way they can, they will obfuscate the truth.

The republicans twist and turn anything said by the President in an effort to delegitimize what he has accomplished in spite of an obstructive congress and attempt to take the credit themselves but this is only a small part of the problem, our society is so easily manipulated by these lies simply because they are too lazy to research these outlandish statements to investigate as to how much, if any, truth there is to their statements. Sadly I don't see this practice improving before the election, I only hope that the majority of voters see through this republicans facade.

So glad they don't change their tactics....just keep on lying and at least don't give a shadow of doubt to those who will NOT vote for them. For the others that will, well, what can I say.

Grrr...my comment didnt' take....Let them go on doing what they do best, lie, and then those who will NOT vote for them will know beyond any shadow of doubt. For the other who will vote for them, well what can I say. :-(

Liars and the lies they get away with are only getting worse.....perhaps since the media is more and more owned by the wealthy and has trouble asking the tough or logical questions i.e. explanations or why they lied....

this stadium, just like the future one in MN, are great examples of "we can't spend on schools, but we can give more to the rich"

The only way they can win is to distort everything Pres. Obama says and does.

Oh if only President Obama had said 'You didn't build that alone...' - mind you the hatred-filled GOP would still have chopped his sentences about. Love Susanne's and Lynn's comment about the stadium!

Distorting the truth is the only thing the rethugs are good at. Lie, lie, lie and eventually even the trolls will start to parrot what they say. I do so hope Obama keeps up the pressure on Wrongmey and his wealth especially why he hid so much his money in other countries so as not to pay fair taxes in the country he wants so bad to control. Yes Pam, agree, it is not hard to hate them at all, just listen to them and it magically happens, like magic underware makes you better then others.

It is difficult, but we must remember that most of the rank and file actuary believe it, because they have been deceived.
