Because I live on the Left Coast, I had to wait until this morning to see the debate between consumer advocate and CFPB founder, Elizabeth Warren, and corporate-shill, pretending to be progressive, Scott Brown. In my opinion, Warren mopped the floor with him, but I know that many will parrot the Republican Ministry of Propaganda, Faux Noise, to the contrary. Therefore I have included the complete video of the debate. Watch it and decide for yourself. But first, here is John Nichols view.

Watched this yesterday on the web. While Brown had to resort to personal attacks and snide remarks, Warren simply fought him with the facts. All she needed was his voting record to show where he really stands on the issues. Can't run away from that, Scott. Elizabeth Warren may be running for political office, but she is certainly not the usual politician. Refreshing!

I stand with Elizabeth Warren, she did win the debate by hitting many nails on the head. Brown is just like the rest of his kind!!

I love Elizabeth Warren, a professor like Obama, a woman of integrity, intelligence, wisdom and heart. She will win this one. I think the hardened right are going to try to stay their difficult and painful course, but no matter how they spin the results of this debate, the ones who were undecided will certainly see what is really going on in the fascist camp and vote for her. He may be good looking, but she is beautiful.

Least we all forget, Scott Brown is a racist.

Let us have the people in Massachusetts have the fortitude to elect Elizabeth Warren as their Senator.
We need Warren in office.

Ty, Tom.

Camila says it all! She did a great job - reflecting the difference in "caracter and morality" - the GOP suffers from a deprivation in those standards!

Even the HUGE INFLUX OF REPUKELICAN-APOLOGIST TROLLS you are seeing now on Care2, and all over the Internet, and will see from now till the Election -- even THEY aren't going to help the Repukelicans win!

Repukelicans' strategy is to make this "A TIGHT RACE" -- which, by the way, is why Rmoney SAYS to the Press that he's "even" with President Obama, tho that is CLEARLY NOT SO!

If it is a "tight race", due to Voter Suppression and discouragement, Voter bullying and intimidation by thuggish Repukelican "poll watchers" --
then the Repukes can "more plausibly" win by switching a few votes from our side to their side, on the Diebold Voting Machines that they MADE TO BE HACKED. The Diebold Voting Machines are MANUFACTURED BY REPUBLICAN SUPPORTERS and are easily-hackable, as has been PROVED.
President Obama, Elizabeth Warren, and ALL DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATES, FOR HOUSE AND SENATE, need to WIN BY THE WIDEST MARGINS POSSIBLE -- so that it will NOT be plausible when the Diebold Voting Machines are hacked in Romney's favor!
We especially need to help WORKING PEOPLE WHO WORK LONG HOURS, and Women and Caretakers of children, to actually physically get to the Voting Places on time.... or to ask for, and get, Absentee Ballots....
The Repukelicans, and the Koch brothers, are DESPERATE and will do, literally, ANYTHING, to win the White House and the Senate... legal or blatantly illegal...

Several times Mr. Brown quoted statistics by the chamber of commerce,by using chamber of commerce statistics I'm sure this is reassuring for the voters in Massachusetts, because we all know how supportive the chamber of commerce is toward the working class in our Country.

First thing Mr Brown did was to hammer home on Elizabeth Warren's Native American ancestry - he is PLAINLY appealing to the RACISTS amongst his supporters. Since he (racistly) said that she plainly wasn't a Native American as could be clearly seen(!) - he would no doubt assume that all the Irish are white skinned and red haired and that all Jewish people have olive skins and brown hair and eyes. Which is no doubt why a number of white skinned and blue eyed blondes who also happened to be Jewish eluded the Nazis in WWII and made a considerable contribution to defeating nazism. Brown by his own words here seems to have more than a little in common with the nazis.

Green Stars to BMutiny and Judy B and others - I love Elizabeth Warren too - she did not resort to personal attacks but kept talking about the issues and how important it was to see how people voted.... not just what they said!

I think the US has another educated janitor Elizabeth Warren she wiped the floor with Scott Brown!!! Woo Hoo!!!!!

Brown right from the opening salvo seemed to go after Warren in thinly disguised personal attacks . . . really not disguised at all I guess. Warren kept hammering at Brown's voting record, while Brown mentioned Warren raising taxes a number of times. At one point, Brown mentioned voting against party lines, and I thought back immediately to one (can't remember what the vote was for) when I remember he voted with the Democrats, but it didn't matter his vote either way would not have made a difference. When Warren made a comment about other politicians, Brown was rather dismissive saying that the race is about she and he, nobody else. And I suppose that is true in one sense, but the bigger picture is the whole Senate, the WH and SCOTUS, and that big picture affects how things get done for everyone, not just for the people of Massachusetts. Warren kept bringing that point forward several times and Brown had no comeback for it.

As John Nicolls noted, when Warren mentioned supporting Obama as Commander-in-chief, Rmoney's name was nowhere to be heard.

Brown certainly wasn't relaxed. Several times he wanted to pounce and came very close to breaking the rules of the debate. Sheer frustration I'm sure. Warren was Warren, very cool.

Get out the vote!!!!!

Vote Democratic 2012!!!!! Vote Obama/Biden 2012!!!!!
