"The Democratic Party went from a 46-48 favorable-unfavorable rating a month ago, to 52-43 in this latest poll. That’s a net gain of 11 points.

"As for impeachment-screeching Republicans? They’re DOWN a net eight points from 38-54 a month ago, to 35-59 this week…"

There's only one thing I can say to that HOOORAYYYYY!!!!!

Puzzle — 3:30 Jerry, you left me in the ashes! Critter Crunched!

NY Times — There is frequently a rotten Apple in the barrel. So far, there's been nothing illegal that we know of, but are their practices ethical? Until countries start coöperating with each other, the biggest corporations are going to walk through local and international loopholes. Wouldn't it be nice if we could run our income through Ireland! Trouble is, we don't have enough to make it worthwhile!

Alternet — Why would anyone, even a Republican/Teabagger, ignore requests for medical assistance? Being a relatively mild asthmatic but with inhalers, when you are in the midst of an attack, it is scary and help is needed NOW! I hope the daughter wins a big settlement, but I also hope that the state or county (whatever) is forced to adopt measures to avoid a future tragic situation as this.

The Daily Kos — Well it would seem that all the elephant shit they're throwing is not sticking to their intended target but rather boomeranging back to hit the Republican/Teabaggers in the face! May it ever be so! If this is how their revamping their image, they are doing a piss poor job. And please, oh please, when 2014 comes around, please remember what the dumb ass Republican/Teabaggers have been doing and vote them out of office!

Cartoon — I do so remember all the "duck and cover" exercises at school in the late 50s early 60s. Paranoia reigned supreme. Trouble is, "duck and cover" would not proect you from anything!
