Fortunately for me, I have one addiction even greater than tobacco and that is to the First Church of the Ellipsoid Orb. In addition to being a die hard Denver fan, I also play fantasy football, and Politics Plus sponsors the a fantasy football league: Lefty Blog Friends. My team, Tomcatís Teabag Trashers won the regular season, but came in last in the playoffs. We currently have six teams, and one of those did not shop up last year, and can be replaced. Iíd like to expand it to ten giving us five openings, so Iím inviting you to join on a first come first serve basis.

From the beginning of pre-season the often painful final run-off games to the Super Bowl, I am a committed football fan. Though I have not played any fantasy football.

Ok Tom, I'm in this year if there's still room. Haven't played FF for a couple of years. I know how to lose well! Will contact you with email. Thanks!

Ok I have registered. The 'contact me' came up as a blank page so sent you a regular e-mail.

You will have to give this old nanny a lesson in fantasy football as I have never played in anything like this. I don't have TV so I can't follow games except by the score boards.

As to a name, I like your suggestion but I think I'll go with Size 9 Stompers.

This had a great response between here and the site. Four of the five openings are filled. There is one spot left. Who will it be?.

The mailto kink works fine for most. Robert, send me a private message here with an email address. I tried to send you one but got a profile error.

I OOPSED! We filled three and have two slots left.

Oh come on all that padding, stop and starting, where's the macho in that? Now Rugby Union is a MAN'S game, No padded protection and none of this one on one bit, have a real scrum with one man, buried with ball, under a dozen others who are trying to tear the ball out with their spiked boots. then of course the inevitable punch up or two with all involved. So you end your career with broken noses, ribs, cauliflower ears, and scrambled brains that make a hundred fight boxer seem intelligent. It was all good fun and made you a MAN. Geez I am glad I was a wrestler that's a Gentleman's sport.
