I thought of sharing the complete video of last night’s massacre, but I decided to be merciful and spare you. I do have several short clips for you. When Trump stayed on script in the very beginning, he actually did fairly well. He even backed Hillary into voicing support for NAFTA, a big mistake on her part. But Hillary kept baiting him, and after around fifteen minutes, Trump started reacting. He kept getting worse, and by the end of the debate, Hillary had reduced Trump to ranting gibberish.

Good for Hillary!! Thanks for posting this. I missed the debate, and public radio reported wildly different views today, so I'm glad to see this post!

With her shoddy pokes, prods, and eye-rolling.......very decorous.....like a woman presidential candidate should be.

There is a lovely article, if you just want some quick quips, on Daily Kos - http://www.dailykos.com/stories/2016/9/27/1574926/-Literally-just-a-bunch-of-funny-tweets-about-last-night-s-debate And looking for it, I found another - http://www.dailykos.com/stories/2016/9/27/1575071/-Need-a-break-Here-are-12-more-funny-tweets-from-last-night-s-debate
I particuarly liked "I see Hillary has come dressed in the blood of men who have underestimated her." Also David Ehrlich's "tonight, we are pretty much sending Hillary Clinton to drill into a giant asteroid & nuke it from the inside before it can destroy the earth" But "The message from this debate: Never bring a Cheeto to a knife fight." was pretty good too.

I@Nyack Clancy. The word woman was used as an adjective. To distinguish that she was the female candidate.........

@ Darren w, usually I agree with your comments, but can you please explain your comment today? If you are suggesting that we were missing 2 candidates then you are reasonable, but if you are suggesting that trump is better for the "ordinary working public" (who does that include? does it include me?) than hillary then I am surprised.....

Hi Dave, sure.

Neither Clinton OR Trump are suitable for Public Office in my opinion and view. The two best candidates are Bernie Sanders who had the votes effectively stolen from him by election rigging. Dr. Jill Stein is the best female candidate.

I am NOT in favor of austerity measures in times of economic stress, UNLESS the rich and powerful share in the pain of austerity by agreeing to have their wealth CUT.

I am NOT in favor of ANY wars, anywhere, in the world, and think that War wastes public money, and most importantly innocent lives.

I am NOT in favor of policies that wreck havoc on the environment, which includes OIL spills by the Oil Cartels.

I am NOT in favor of Fracking, which wastes water which particularly in parts of America you cannot afford to waste.

I am NOT in favor of exploiting workers and work forces by NOT agreeing to AT LEAST a Minimum Living Wage, when a lot of wealthy people on Wall Street earn outrageous and excessive amounts of money, AND bonuses.

I am NOT in favor of increasing the Military budget, which essentially further endorses and perpetuates WAR on other countries.

I am NOT in favor of Gun and arming people, given the number of gun crimes you experience almost on a daily basis.

I AM IN FAVOR of education right up to college/university for all.
I AM IN FAVOR of equality for men AND women
I AM IN FAVOR of alternative energy sources to replace Oil and Gas as the main sources of energy for populations
I AM IN FAVOR of Unions and Rights for workers.
I AM IN FAVOR of Animal Rights and welfare for animals.
I AM IN FAVOR of the pardoning and exoneration of Leonard Peltier, Native American
I AM IN FAVOR of pardoning and exoneration of Edward Snowden and others who have demonstrated how devious, controlling, exploitative and underhand the American Administration and its adjunct bodies, FBI, CIA, NSA, etc. are
I AM IN FAVOR of the Indigenous Native Americans who have been exploited for hundreds of years by Americans of New Format (those who laughingly celebrate American In-Dependence Day), and that includes the removal of the Nakota Access Pipeline and all others. Petitions posted daily.

That's a short list.

You want me to expand on any of these, I shall do.

BTW, yet again, I am NOT a Donald Trump supporter OR Hillary Clinton. Trump is also an Immigrant, having been borne of a German father, and Scottish mother, so his arguments about immigrants are dubious.

@Nyack Clancy. Commenters certainly have the right to an opinion and to express it; however, reputable social media/news agencies present objective, unbiased, verified information.

I thought Hillary had him in the first 5 minutes, he claimed he won and now the polls are saying it too. the polls must have been bought and paid for by dumpster

Hillary kept her cool and pretty much ignored Trump's rants. Every time I watch Trump my stomach churns. He did the usual by making an ass of himself as always.

I stopped watching when I became sure, gleefully, that His royal Orange Emptiness was on the verge of loosing it, apparently, he did. Even the Fox News owned NY Post said he "Stumbled," on their front page!

I did not watch the debate but heard snippets on the radio.  Of course there were reactions from Canadian politicians, none too enamoured with Drumpf, not even the Tories (Conservatives). http://www.newscaf.com/out/?i=592045 This one by Bob Rae, former federal Liberal leader and previous NDP politician, is my favourite: "I'm watching Dennis the Menace as an old man. Ludicrous."  https://twitter.com/BobRae48/status/780595823717543936?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw  Of course, PM Justin Trudeau is on record multiple times saying that he'll work with whomever is elected.  But he was recently seen with his fingers crossed behind his back as he made this pronouncement yet again!

And then there was Wall Street with concerns about a Drumpf presidency as the indexes dropped.  But then they were back up today, an indication perhaps that, in the eyes of Wall Street, Clinton was the winner.

To say that Drumpf is not on a Canuck Christmas list is, I think, an understatement.

I could NOT bring myself to watch that debate. I already know I'm voting for Hilary and don't need to see/hear that prime example of obnoxious, bullying POMPOSITY insulting her! Presidents are supposed to be LEADERS...not examples of ill-mannered, ignorant school-yard bullies!

I watched this debate. It was the FIRST TIME I have ever watched a debate and was ROTFLMAO when Orange-man's blood pressure was on the rise! He stumbled, fumbled and made an ass of himself! I DVR'd it so am we could watch it again, just to see Rump Dump Drumpf loosing his cool!!!
Thanks for the clips! They were FANTASTIC! Love Rachel M. and she was lovin every minute of it!!!

I watched the whole debate.  You are right, he did fairly well while following his script, but went off the rails after Hillary's careful answers upset him.  The media agrees that she won, but from what I am hearing from his fans, they think he did.  I am not sure any of them will change their minds, I just hope the debate will help some who had not decided yet to choose BLUE!

It was sad to to have to watch Hillary 'debate' an idiot such as Trump. The USA must be half highly intelligent, and the rest, as dumb as inbred folk, to fall for this charlatan. I viewed the whole debate. Hillary was looking at times directly at the camera, I think to reassure the rest of the world that the USA is going to be okay under her leadership. Sad that it has come to this. What an embarrassment for the good folk of the USA. Thanks, TomCat.

A debate that convinced the world that Trump is NOT suitable for an American Presidency. I also agreed with the points that Darren Woolsey made.

ideo 1: Could it be that some moderators (especially those working for Faux News) do not feel comfortable with fact checking because they don't do that for their own stories they put out to their public?

Video 2: Schmidt summarizes the debate perfectly. It looks like some Republicans will no longer be held accountable for having Drumpf as their candidate and have begun to look reality in the eye.

Video 3: Rachel and her colleagues were right to point out Drumpf's erratic demeanor. It looked like he had taken advise from Sara Palin and had a little pow wow in the restroom to "steady his nerves".

Video 4: "Almost as if he couldn't control himself"? Drumpf couldn't, period. Once he started interrupting he fell back on his normal behavior, that of a bullying, intimidating heckler. Clinton sure showed him that a future president isn't bullied, intimidated by a low class heckler who can't be "presidential" for 90 minutes when it's essential to show Americans he is.

Video 5: I think this one's my cue. I'll try to put a "As Seen From Afar" up on this subject in the next few days.

But of course, Trump thinks he did just great… even tho his microphone wasn't working quite right (smirk)… and if he'd known Hillary was going to get down and dirty, he would have had more to say….and if Lester Holt hadn't asked him such hard questions… and…as Andy writes:

"HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (The Borowitz Report)—Plunging the future of the 2016 Presidential debates into doubt, Donald J. Trump said on Tuesday morning that he would not participate in the remaining two debates if Hillary Clinton is there.

Trump blasted the format of Monday night’s debate by claiming that the presence of Clinton was “specifically designed” to distract him from delivering his message to the American people.

“Every time I said something, she would say something back,” he said. “It was rigged.”

He also lambasted the “underhanded tactics” his opponent used during the debate. “She kept on bringing up things I said or did,” he added. “She is a very nasty person.”

Turning to CNN, Trump criticized the network’s use of a split screen showing both him and Clinton throughout the telecast. “It should have been just me,” he said. “That way people could have seen how really good my temperament is.”

The billionaire said that debate organizers had not yet responded to his ultimatum, but he warned that if he does not get assurances in writing that future debates will be “un-rigged, Hillary-wise,” he will not participate.

“I have said time and time again that I would only do these debates if I am treated fairly,” he added. “The only way I can be guaranteed of being treated fairly is if Hillary Clinton is not there.”

I watched the entire thing...I went blind for awhile after it I also lost my sight for a time. Heh heh heh. I wanted the Hildebeast to eviscerate and exsanguinate him....I was not disappointed. I just wished she would have gone for the kill but...I know it has to look like there is actual competition.

Trumplodytes all over are saying he won.....how, I have no idea, but they believe the Reich ministry of Nazi Propaganda (Faux Noose) I hope, like the rest of ma peeps, that the undecideds out here will now decide to swing to Her Majesty.

Somewhat interesting. Donald Frump is a bull dust artist and only knows how to spew hate. He is not gracious or polite about anything. I think these debates are a waste of time all one learns is how asinine Mr. Frump is, so just why he wants to show every man and his dog that he is a crazy crook is anyone's guess? He should put a brown paper bag on his head and stop hyperventilating and muck raking.

Thanks all, stars, and hugs.

Darren, you said you are not a Trump supporter. Respectfully, withoit intending to be, you are. Here's why. Hillary, including her flaws, is the only way we can keep Trump out of the White House. When you try to convince others to switch their vote from others to a candidate with zero chance to win, you are supporting Trump's quest. I intend no insult, but that's what's real.

Watched the debate and Hillary was presidential and wiped the floor with Trump. He is such a looser, sad and pathetic. He will continue to embarrass himself in the next 2 debates. Bernie is now campaigning for Hillary as well as President & Mrs. Obama. I'll miss seeing Mrs. Obama in the media. She is and always has been a class act and an example for girls and women in the world.
