Forty four years ago we had a Supreme Court that actually paid attention to the US Constitution, and they correctly decided that women’s reproductive health care decisions were hers to make and hers alone, and they proclaimed it in Roe v. Wade. The electoral-college infestation of the Whitehouse by Donald Trump has put this right and all women’s rights in jeopardy like to an unprecedented degree. So for women to march everywhere was most appropriate. Washington DC was the highest profile.

my daughter said the DC march was awesome....she was on The Mall by 6 AM......our march is St Paul, MN was many times bigger than they expected and we didn't have anyone nearly as famous as they did in DC

TC stand strong and don't let's get divided again

HuffPo is collecting data on turnout city by city--was over 3 million last I looked...Los Angeles's count was more than DC;s and Conway's response for the administration was why didn't they call me to dialogue? Cities in deep red got lots of numbers, too

That they did. I've seen a ton of great news on this. And it was worldwide. I am still waiting for trump to start tweeting insults to all those women. Who, as I said in the previous article, should form a new party as they are the only ones capable of taking trump down in 2018. They'll certainly have my vote. Even if they run Jane Fonda for President. Maybe especially if they do. They're a force, they proved that, now keep that momentum and DO something with it. The moment is now for women to take their rightful role in our country, in the world, I want to see them do it. Govern. They can, they should, I hope they will.

FLOTUS should be the first person who led the march. She obviously is just a paid wife and he does his own thing on the side. Basically POTUS is a tool. "Pig" is too high a title to hold since pigs, Bozo, The Adams Family are higher on any level of respectability than this POS and his entire POS family. Just because someone is rich does not make them have any class. Their presence in the White House is a disgrace to the US. Basically - rich and don't have a clue about a hard working American family.

Forgot to include the disabled, gay individuals, people who believe in multiple religions, the hard working people of so many towns that can't find a job, etc., etc. POS Trump does not have a clue.

Limited mobility, as we all know, is a – well. I've been supporting in the form of signing and encouraging, but no, I wasn't there, except in spirit. I expect the same is true of many here who have physical issues of one kind or another. But for those who were there –

YOU GO, GIRL !!!!!

I'm glad to see so many people interested in a genuine resistance. I am trying to assemble a coalition in the Atlanta area, and to that end am contacting activist groups in hopes of having some planning meetings. So far I have gotten just a few nibbles, but I will keep working at this.

Vancouver did it's part with several marches within Metro Vancouver.  The downtown march estimates about 16,000.  Check out the pictures.

I was reminded of the Solidarność (Solidarity) trade union created in 1980 Poland.  As I recall there were people the world over standing in solidarity with Solidarność.  And so people stand in solidarity the world over for women's rights.

Right after Drumpf's inauguration speech a few hundred protesters demonstrated against Drumpf and our own Wilders in the Hague, but more than 3000 joined in the Women's March in Amsterdam the next day. People joined in the march in 670 cities all over the world and all were against Drumpf.

It was great to see the turn out at all the marches. Here in my small city of 87,000 people we had about 8,000 to 10,000 people comprised of women, young and old, men and boys and families with small children. All peaceful and they had great signs. This is just the beginning of a movement to take back our country from the sexual predator and his disgusting and despicable cabinet of thieves.

The women's March on January 21st was absolutely awesome. People United across the globe on all the continents including Antarctica to send a very clear message to Donald Trump. We are united against you. We do not trust you and we will stand against your evil policies to undo the things that have been accomplished through our Blood Sweat and Tears.

There were at LEAST a half-million at Los Angeles' march...I know because I was there! Friends, I haven't felt that alive and hopeful since before the election was settled for a buffoon! We can DO this...all we need to do is convince Congress that we DO VOTE in next year's elections!

The women rocked, the men rocked, the kids rocked. The march in Washington was the biggest demonstration the U.S. has ever had and it was completely peaceful! Add to that the sister marches in all major and many smaller cities not just in the U.S. but all over the world - 2 in Antarctica! It would have been funny if not so pathetic that pictures of Ivanka were shown bowling in her stilettos while the throngs gathered outside. Kind of reminded me of how Nero fiddled while Rome burned.
