HEY DUDE! – Parody: Lovely voice and so mellow. Have a nice repose for a 3 minute song.

I am glad that Beto O’Rourke dominated Ted Cruz in Texas Senate debate. YES! And I would love to see that smirk disappear off of Cruz's face forever. HA!

NewYorker: Piddle Puppet Master is a bit peeved, is he not. lol.

Cartoon: Wasn't all that difficult, was it...? sigh...

PPC: Wonderful, so well done, and love the words !

Salon: Beto (all gloves are off.)..He's the clear winner! Go, Beto, GO!!!!

NYer: This is probably how it is now. Two cruel dictators fighting over dt. How insane is that?

Cartoon: So sad. Even today, with not receiving any assistance for our friends and neighbors, truly horrible.

Best to your guys for the WIN !!! Still raining/drizzling, and cold for me here. Enjoy your evening, take good care, and Thanks, Tom.

5:20 You really have to look to see any blue in the bird against that bright blue water.

This has been out for a while, but between Cornerstore Caroline and Apartment Annie and Gas Station Brenda [sic] and Golf Cart Gail (and the week isn't over), I thought this might be a good time to share.

The other PP - Alas, I can't get much older either. But my ballot comes today, and I'll be ON IT.

Salon - Too many things COULD be said - I'm not jumping in.

TNY - I would have thought that anything which could make Putin angry would be something I would be for. I'm going to have to rethink that!

Cartoon - And proceeded to start bleeding the life out of it. Grrrrr.

Found this on Alternet: This Hilarious Ad Wants to Remind You Everyone Hates Ted Cruz

Thought you might want to have a short read and listen. It is a Beto ad.

Thanks Tomcat. I enjoyed everything you shared. I'm sorry I can't wish your Broncos well. I cannot forgive them for beating my Cleveland Browns back in the day...

Joanne, I just may need to buy some of that for some yahoos I know lol. I loved the ad for Beto! Thanks for sharing Jim. When you have your own people making those kind of statements, it truly is clear that it is past time for Cruz to go.

Time for baseball!

PPC: Wonderful!
Salon: I do not watch these things, they are not good for my oh so fragile constitution, and I am out of barf bags!  It is no surprise to her that Beto beat Cruz in a debate, as Cruz has little if any mind.  I clicked through, and was targeted by more ads than I've seen in a year, all done.
New Yorker:  Well, what can one expect, that Putin's mommy taught him how to share?  Fat chance!
'Toon: Sadly, first the Spanish and then us. It is not easy being Taino!

PPC: Love the tune. Perfectly worded to fix exactly the way we full about tRump and his cronies.
Salon: Wonderful news about Beto O’Rourke leading, I pray that he wins. I can't stand crude cRuz.
NY: Boy pUtin's upset Poor baby. wonder what he will do about it?
Cartoon: Agree with Pat that it's still sad that they still haven't had any real help.
Joanne, Like the ad.
Enjoy the game. Hope your Broncos do well and win this evening.
Take care. Thanks TomCat

PP: Excellent, one of the best yet! Great way to get the young to get themselves to the ballot boxes.

Salon: Still keeping my fingers, toes and legs crossed for Beto. It’s a long shot for Texas, but Beto does have a chance.

TNY: Way to go, Andy. Absolutely scathing satire, the only type fitting for Drumpf and comrades.

Cartoon: And Puerto Rico never got over the devastation.

I see the Beto O'Rourke campaign as perhaps THE key indicator in this year's midterm elections. He has dominated Cruz since the beginning. He would be a wonderful addition to the Senate. The odious Ted Cruz's absence a breath of fresh air, probably even for most of his colleagues if not their majority. But the polls have been all over the place. Texas is going to be one of the first two states to flip to less than half white in the next decade.

There have been some wonderful Democrats in that state. I still miss Molly Ivins, who I am sure probably most of you don't remember, but she was an amazing woman, a columnist who dissected Texas politics like no other. I was fortunate enough to have a personal correspondence with her over the years, breast cancer took her far too soon, but she was the strongest progressive voice in the State for a very long time. No one has stepped forward to replace her, well, she wasn't replaceable, but there's been no voice in their media since whos's had the kind of impact she did - her work was often distributed nationally (GWB's, biggest nightmare), Beto is that kind of voice though not media, he carries her spirit with him. We so very much need people like that in national politics right now. 19 days to the most important midterm in my lifetime I think.

Puzzle --- 4:32 Does this painting make you drool for the bird you cannot have Puddy Tat?

Parody Project --- Outstanding!!! "Amen times infinity!!" . . . and then some!

Salon --- I watched the entire debate, although my computer kept freezing and shutting down when Cruz was speaking! There were 2 things that came to mind as I watched: 1) Cruz is such a slimy POS; and 2) I swear I could see his nose grow longer with every passing second! Beto did a great job and hisz confidence was certainly on full display. Like the audience, I had to laugh when Cruz struggled to articulate one time when he had helped people outside of his role in government.

The New Yorker --- "Well, Andy, one can hardly blame Putin [R-RU]. To the best of my knowledge, MBS has not contributed even one urine saturated hooker to maintain Putin’s piddle puppet." --- AMEN!!! LMAO!!! I could not have said it better!

Cartoon --- Puerto Rico was never the same afterwards! And things are only getting worse!

Resist, Persist, Remove!!!

Lock HIM up!!!

Silence is Consent!!!

Have to go! I'm having a major haircut this morning and running late as I had two blood sugar lows (3.1 on our scale --- 55.8 on your scale I think). Later!!!

Other nice midterm evidence:
for the first time in over 30 yrs., the DEM challenging GOP incumbent (currently McClintock) is outraising him exponentially--and it isn't a race the DCCC is doing anything in...
NV Las Vegas union(s) make the difference in DEM turnout--and are very active for these midterms (hint-hint--DEMs pay attention to worker bread and butter issues, support unionization with legislation and the party may get back more union support and efforts)...

Drumpfelthinskin’s tweet about Beto: Beto O’Rourke is a total lightweight compared to Ted Cruz, and he comes nowhere near representing the values and desires of the people of the Great State of Texas. He will never be allowed to turn Texas into Venezuela!

Gene, Molly was magnificent. Gail Collins (NYTimes) and Alexandra Petri (WaPo) are awesome, although their columns in recent weeks have tended less toward humor and satire, and more toward bleak disgust. Can’t blame them. After all, Putin’s Piddle Puppet has declared open season on journalists.

It was a privilege to get to know Molly, TC. A truly remarkable woman, person. We could use a LOT more like her in the media these days as opposed to the pale shadows we see out there now. :^)
