I don’t want to write about the wall. Sadly, it is dominating the news, and there’s not much else. However, there are people less interested in having the wall than I. They are the American citizens whose lives it would disrupt. Democrats must not cave in. The more Trump fights, the fewer support him All we have to do is wait and inform the people of the US.

I doubt Trump knows what he will do next, but whatever it is, be sure it will not be good.

The Coast Guard recommended its people hold garage sales, or do babysitting. Yeah, he probably doesn't realize. But how can we be sure? If he did realize, he wouldn't care. The rhetoric would be the same.

I believe that Trump is faking it all along the way now, does not want to look like a fool, he said.  But, IMHO, he is looking more and more like a fool every day.  Skills at negotiating? Never seen 'em!  If the exchange on the ribbon seen at CNN is accurate, Schumer asked why he won't stop hurting people with the shutdown, he responded "Because then you won't give me what I want."  Gee, did he consider, for a moment caring about the people?  "Because you won't give me what I want," is something one might expect to hear from a 4 year old!!!!
Yes, Joanne, he would not care, does not care, never did ever care!

Keep contacting your Congress critters and tell them to oppose the wall. Keep signing petitions against it, and point out how the shutdown is hurting innocent people - kids who will go hungry, people who want to visit national parks and monuments, et cetera.

Build the wall.

I suppose I wouldn't object if his base would show support for their wall and "buy a brick" for Donny and his "wall". Depending on how many "bricks" he gets, he could build it taller, deeper, longer "wall" with bricks from his base. A Tribute for their Tyrant. Wouldn't that be quaint?

Then the whole thing can get washed away like a turd in the toilet, from the effects of the non existent climate change.

This whole WALL situation has gone on way too long. He's a heartless whiny bas*ard that has to stop his awful bullying now. He's causing way too many innocent people to be suffering in multiple ways. It's really sickening to listen to his f'ing mouth that speaks such lies about this wall. We don't want a wall. Wish the heck he'd understand that, but sorry to say with him being brainless he won't.
Thanks TomCat

As Laurence so accurately pointed out: Drumpf doesn’t want his wall, he wants his fight. Everything has been said on the wall on both sides, there’s absolutely nothing to add. So, from now on only report on those 800.000 poor federal workers and their struggle to get by from day to day and contrast it with the lavish spending of the White House from day to day. It’s just like the internet: Don’t feed the troll.

I laughed out loud when he said he didn't slam his hand on the table and Schumer was a liar. Trump said he has never thrown a tantrum.

Pardon my attempt at getting a little humor into this most 'unhappy' situation here, but, in my struggles to cope with life's oft ill scenarios' - I've found "funny" to be a way of getting through. I do not intend to be rude, but it is a bit of that:
Shared from a Jimmy Kimmel late night banter with Storm Daniels, regarding the brief presentation by the potus:
“His speech was about ten minutes long, which, according to Stormy Daniels, is about eight minutes longer than he usually lasts,” he said, eliciting claps and cheers from the audience.
What can I say, but, - he's asking for it!

It is more cost effective to sterilize captured illegal immigrants then return them to home country, than any other method. The wall is a bribery driven corrupt construction project. stop the joke and sterilize the illegals. noted starred.

Did a 1950s TV Episode Feature a Character Named Trump Who Offered to Build a Protective Wall?

An episode of the 1950s western TV series 'Trackdown' featured a snake oil salesman named 'Trump' who promised to build a wall in order to prevent the end of the world. (Video)

In November 2016, a clip from an episode of the 1950s western television series Trackdown was published to YouTube, along with the claim that it “predicted Donald Trump” by featuring a snake oil salesman character named “Trump” who claimed that only he could prevent the end of the world … by building a wall around the town:

The television series Trackdown really did produce an episode featuring a “Trump” character who came to town claiming that only he could prevent the end of the world by building a wall (and also sold special force propelling umbrellas to deflect meteorites). The episode (S1, E30) aired on CBS in 1958 and was titled “The End of the World,” featuring actor Lawrence Dobkin playing the role of “Walter Trump.” A synopsis of the episode from the Classic TV Archive reads as follows:

Walter Trump, a confidence man, puts on a long robe and holds a tent meeting in the town of Talpa. He tells the townspeople that a cosmic explosion will rain fire on the town and that he is the only one that can save them from death. Ranger Hoby Gilman attempts to prove Trump is a fraud.

While Dobkin appeared in at least three other episodes of Trackdown, this was the only occasion in which he portrayed the Walter Trump character

A relevant portion of dialog from this episode has been transcribed below:

Narrator: The people were ready to believe. Like sheep they ran to the slaughterhouse. And waiting for them was the high priest of fraud.

Trump: I am the only one. Trust me. I can build a wall around your homes that nothing will penetrate.

Townperson: What do we do? How can we save ourselves?

Trump: You ask how do you build that wall. You ask, and I’m here to tell you.

A representative for MeTV, a Chicago network that airs reruns of Trackdown, confirmed that the episode was real. The rep said that the after Hoby tells Walter Trump that he is under arrest, the character gets shot by another character and may have been killed:

A full version of the episode was uploaded to YouTube on 14 January 2017:

Some idiot started a GoGundMe for the wall. It raised $20,370,169. The goal was $1.0b. I'm sure you'll all be distressed to hear that since it didn't meet the goal, GoFundMe is returning ALL donations.

My sister posted this on Facebook, one of the orange clown's tweets: "We lose 300 Americans a week, 90% of which comes through the Southern Border. These numbers will be DRASTICALLY REDUCED if we have a Wall!"

All the King's therapists and all the King's docs . . . couldn't make Orange Dumpty a whole man again . . .

Donald Trump may be the "Spy who shagged me". Can Mike Myers play both Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell?
