Bill - Monologue - Boy. One zinger after another after another. (BTW, I forget how many tates have not made bestiality illegal, but it's more than you would think - and one is one too many.)

Dave Barry - I used to read him frequently. I've missed him. (He looks younger than Bill, doesn't he? Laughter must really be the best medicine.) Bucket list - Aaaw! Sweet!

Pence - I don't believe that about the stick. I think it's stainless steel. Or something equally metallic but more disgusting.

Seth Abramson - "Falls trough the cracks." Boy, is that ever the truth. Recovering what has fallen through the cracks is something Rachel also does - the bagman podcasts are an extreme example, and she definitely deserves her award. But she does the same thing every day - picking things that need to be heard and remembered out of the soup of rumor and trivia. (BTW, I'm not sure Mueller DID punt. I guess Seth feels the same, though maybe for different reasons.) "I don't believe he paid them." LOL! I don't either.

New Rules - The Nunya Business Institute. Si non e vero, e ben trovato! As far as population goes, of course he is right. One of the problems, however, is that this is not the first time in history this has been noticed - starting with Thoman Malthus, before the industrial revolution. And then the Industrial Revolution came along, and made it possible for the earth to sustain more people. Ever since then people have shruged and said, "Meh, something will happen to make it work." So now, all of us who see disaster and just boys crying wolf. Well, sometimes there IS a wolf.

RESIST AND PERSIST !!!

Nice show. He's not wrong. I want to sleep for a couple years too. Or forever whichever comes first. They sort of feel like the same thing at the moment.

Have always loved Dave Barry, especially noted the 70 comment as I'm a few months from that milestone myself. The only decade I didn't like was 30, until I got there and found out that day was the same as the one before. But 70 feels different, I'm paying for having lived an active, athletic life, body is definitely getting even with me. But the real thing is, despite great longevity on both sides, late 80's or 90's, except for my dad who passed at 62 and his at 63, I never expected really to get this far and given what life has been so far, I'm not at all sure I want the 70's. They're not looking like a cakewalk and America today isn't either. I think I might prefer watching this from another dimension. :^). No bucket list for me, feel just like Bill on that one.

I think I believe all of the Pence comments. Literally. Nothing shocking there at all. Only funny because of how Bill brought them out.

I follow Seth on Twitter, he writes the longest tweets in the twitterverse. Amazing man. He's absolutely righ too. I blame it on Trump, but then I blame almost everything on him because he has the attention span of a gnat. But we all seem to these days. Shocking, horrific events happen and in two days, they're just gone. Mass shootings being just the most obvious and not even the ones by white males in this country, all of them, all over the world. I agree on the Mueller bit too. Trump said in a tweet yesterday Congress shouldn't be allowed to "repeat" the Mueller investigation. But they aren't, Mueller's job was to produce a report of his investigation, Congress now has the duty in its oversight role, to decide what that means, what new laws are needed and if any other actions are warranted. That IS our tripartite system of government. Trump simply has never read the Constitution, and is, as always, trying to deflect people from the truth of what he did. Since no one has yet SEEN the report, it is just amusing, or amazing, or nauseating that so many people are claiming Trump is exonerated when clearly no one knows that until we see the freaking report. Or Congress does. Yet, republicans everywhere are acting as if it's all over and innocence has been proven. I'd like to feed them all to one of Danerys Targeryan's dragons. Sigh...

Excellent videos.
#1. Good zingers!
#2. Love Dave Barry. One knows you've gotten old, when you talk about medical tests, or how good one looks in the 70's.
#3. Oh, snap !!!
#4. Really good conversation. I'm listening....
#5. New Rules: Well said, Bill.

Monologue: "...opponents of the bill." these must be the real die-hard Ayn Rand fans, who actually believe that rabid individualism is an acceptable basis for morality, and behavior.  Which state is RAND Paul from?  Funny how that could happen.
Dave Barry: "Talking to our dogs?"  Go for it!  And read "Mama’s Last Hug- Animal Emotions and What They Tell Us about Ourselves," by Frans de Waal.  Being  old, good point Pat.  But, yes it does beat the alternative.
Mike the Pri*k: This is what obsessive anxiety does to a religious person!
Seth A.: A breath of hope!!
New Rule: "...to fall in love, get married and have two kids."  This is a solution, "...to all our problems?"  Has he never herd of divorce, of domestic violence, of spousal rape?  But, I guess, when one lives in a magical fantasy world in the efforts place, anything is possible.  C'mon, just ask Peter Pan!  Of course, Mikey the Pence would quote chapter and verse against "spilling"one's seed!  Oh, well maybe "...opponents of the bill," are aware that bestiality will not produce more people. so they are really ahead of us.  Sadly, though, it may create a Chimera, like all those crazed Rethuglicans!  And we certainly do not need more of them!

Being 76, and working on 77, I am in good shape, have been eating sensibly, healthily, for decades, going to the gym for what will soon be 37 years, 2-3 times a week, and am, nonetheless amazed at coming close to living the combined years of both of my parents. Gene, if you don't exercise regularly, go for it. Anyone, all the recent research on exercise says one does not have to do a lot of it, but do be consistent, starting at any age. OK, off the soap box.
