Spot on,Rachel !!
What a fool ,dt knows nothing, and is so out of his mind. If he's so innocent, why not let the Dems do their job?? It's just a matter of time to getting them.
Let the Law speak for itself in this case.
Personally, I'd hate to think of the wrath of Chairman Elijah Cummings, who is serving his 13th term, as he knows what he's doing..imo

I'm inclined to believe Representative Cummings's wrath will be very controlled indeed. Like Obama, he knows better than to be seen as an Angry Black Man, and like Obama, he has the discipline to carry that out. This will be one of those battles in which the Orange Judas will not even know his legs have been cut out from under him until he tries to walk (and it won't be as funny as the Black Knight, either. On the other hand, maybe it will.)

"“We will not allow congressional presidential harassment to go unanswered,” Trump attorney Jay Sekulow said in a statement Monday."

Congressional oversight is NOT presidential harassment though Trump has been tweeting it like the mad man he is. This will fail in Court without doubt. The executive branch is not exempt from anything and the very idea that questioning it is harassing is ridiculous. Constitutionally speaking.

Rachel was brilliant as always. I remember those days as I was in the army at that time. Marched against our involvement in Vietnam before I volunteered to go. Skit idea was amusing because so true, the army, most of us, was very much against that action. It was ridiculous, it was LBJ, I truly believe JFK would have not let it get to where LBJ took it. He was already having second thoughts before he was assassinated. I was too young to know any of that until I GOT there and saw the idiocy for myself. The youth of that day changed the world. I think the youth of our day will too.

That opinion is still valid. Trump's lawsuit goes nowhere. He leaves soon. Even if that is after getting his butt whipped. By the way, Senator Kamala Harris has also now come out in support of the House moving forward with their investigations and ultimately impeachment. The ball is rolling downhill and like any snowball it is only going to get bigger, fast. Our democracy at work. Working as it should.

Not wanting oversight sounds very dictatorial.

MSNBC: So, is this the first twisting in the wind, as the legal rope grows tighter, and tighter around Drumpy’s neck? His own money? His own team of lawyers, just for this case? Has this fool not already hired something like 700 teams of lawyers with his ill gotten gains, over his lifetime? This is the guy who said he’d take no money from the GOP for his campaign, until he did? His own money? Along with “Koffeffe,” does he know how to spell “scared?”

even though he is thoroughly corrupt
he is extremely lucky
anyone else would have folded by now with all the investigations
he actually looks like he enjoys all the hostility and confusion that always seems to surround him
that being said,I trust Rachel's view of history is correct
fingers crossed that something will finally stick to this dangerous charlatan

Sure amazes me how fast tRump jumps to file lawsuit. He really is showing us how brainless he is. He's the one who has been doing all of the evil doings. Hate to tell him that his evilness is finally catching up to him. Hopefully it won't be that much longer.
Thanks TomCat

It is beyond ironic that the first “ruling” of the courts on the right of Congress to subpoena as they see fit, was a case in which it was obvious that Congress was harassing a group of GIs. But however low-down the motivation to subpoena was, the courts made it clear they couldn’t intervene, And now these overpaid Drumpf lawyers come up with harassment in their suit against the Mazars subpoena. Do they think it makes a difference to the courts that it is the president who feels harassed, because he feels he’s above the law? Or do these lawyers think the courts will rule differently because they filed suit against a person, i.e. Elijah Cummings and not the House Oversight and Reform Committee which he represents as chairman?

I hope these so called lawyers pluck Drumpf bald like a chicken (Dutch proverb) and then take their money and run, leaving him to face the barrage of ridicule he deserves.
