RR: Great vid. I don't have a problem w/this at all, in fact, I'm all for legalizing it. However, in this state...it's a misdemeanor less than 4 oz. of the weed. Here's what Legal Beagle says about this state: "Possessing less than 4 oz. of marijuana in the state of Texas is considered a misdemeanor and may carry a fine up to $4,000 and one year in prison. Possession of 4 oz. to 5 lbs. is considered a state jail felony and may carry a sentence of up to two years in prison with a $10,000 fine, according to the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML). Crazy, right? I think so!!

LDC: This is deeply troubling, and a slap in the faces for those serving now, and to our veterans who served honorably. Reprehensible all the way around. He's a traitor for doing this, and on Memorial Day to announce this!! While this bogus potus has never served, it is despicable to announce this on a day set aside for those who served for the County and of those who died to uphold her ideals. What an as- !!!

NYT: WtH?? Since when? I can only hope that he's passed over.

Cartoon: Yikes!!

Don't overdo, just take it easy. Get your rest, take care, and hope you have a good day, evening. Thanks, Tom.

7:21 But are they as soothing as chamomile? Guess I can look it up.

RR - I don't have a horse of my own in this race. THC doesn't do any more for e than alcohol, and, being a recovered (with great difficulty) tobacco smoker, I don't want to be smoking anything anyway. CBD does seem to help a little with pain and stiffness, but that's already legal. However, I most certainly would like to see it legalized, provided we can keep the vultires from getting hold of it (can you imagine what would happen if Shkreli, for instance, gets his hands on it?) There are a whole lot of people for whom it does control pain, and a whole lot more for whom it is just fun and relaxing. And, my Lord, as things are, who couldn't use a little more fun?

Other JD - Based on comments all over the web, the consensus among veterans is that Traitor Tot's proposal is a slap in the face to everyone who served (or is serving) honorably. It will have a terrible effect on our military (including on future recruiting). It will further undermine our international standing (bet you didn't think that was possible, but it is). At home, it will further embolden domestic terrorists. That's what we are saying. It is also possible hat it may reduce his base sligtly, but not by much, and it will certainly gin up what remains. All horroble effects, but all of them effects that this regime would love to see happen. So he wil probably do it. Incidentally, there are also some people on our side speculating about if, and how, it might be possible to revoke a pardon. I wouldn't put any hope in that, but it does show how sure many of us are that he will go through with this travesty. (Going forward, it could also unilaterally change criminal justice. If I were a prosecutor attempting to convict a particularly despicable piece of human vermin, I might think deriously about holding back on some charges as insurance against a rogue pardon combined with double jeopardy.)

He doesn't ask much, does he? /s He must be mighty sure of himself, or at least his value to the administration. He'd be wrong, but whether Dolt 45 can see that is questionable. Let's hope someone else int he regime does see it.

Cartoon - Right.

RESIST AND PERSIST !!!

Hope you keep improving TC!

"US Service people are among the most honorable in the world. I think one reason is their adherence to a strict code of military justice. If Republican’s undermine that code, we will lose that credibility forever. "

Trump continues to float the idea that the military would not allow a change in power if he is impeached or not elected. Disgusting. The oath I took, all of us took is to the nation, not a president. I simply do not believe ANY active duty military would take part in a coup. Ever. Nor would veterans. It is demeaning to all of us to suggest otherwise. Demeaning himself is fine, he does it every day. As to these pardons. I don't know what he's thinking other than that these are the kind of people his base likes. They're war criminals, convicted of heinous acts. There absolutely NO WAY they should be pardoned. The UCMJ has them where they should be. It would be a travesty to undermine military authority in that way. Not to mention allowing despicable men to be free when they have forfeited the right to walk among the rest of us.

Ol' Bone Spurs uses a B.S. excuse to get out of military service, then plans to pardon vicious criminals who committed atrocities and make the USA and its armed forces look bad. He has no respect for anybody or any institution except for those that stroke his filthy ego and fatten his bank account.

RR: Of course he is correct! Then there is: “Given the racist legacy of these laws….” But “…furthering racist policies,” is exactly what the GOPIGGIES wish for soooo fervently!! The racist legacy is purposeful, i tied to the inability of all those imprisoned people of color who may never vote again, is part of making the private prison club still wealthier.
Dollemore: Desecration, isn’t that Dumpy’s end game? Didn’t he get his marching orders from Bannon, to destroy all semblance of order?
NYT: Krobach has long been one of the most deplorable, despicable of men! Just right for Dumpy.
‘Toon: Next stop Iran?
Keep it going, TC!

RR: Spot on as usual. I have no issue with them legalizing it. I just feel that people who want to use it, need to follow rules/laws just like the ones who drink alcohol.
LDC: I have no respect for tRump or the repugs that want to interfere with military court cases. He shouldn't even be thinking about pardoning someone who has committed these crimes. And for the idiot to say that he want to do it on Memorial Day is really sh*tyl Showing no respect to the ones who did served/died for our country.
NYT: Agree with Mitchell.
Hope you continue getting better, TC. Just don't overdue it.
Take care. Thanks TomCat

4:19. RRC: I've always thought marijuana should be legal. It was stupid to ban hemp, just because it was of the same family, but legalizing it all would be a major boon to our economy. Hemp is an extremely versatile product that could save thousands of trees. Legalizing marijuana should get the courts to release anyone who is in jail or prison for holding any amount.

JDC: This just proves more and more how sick Agent Orange really is. We should be honoring our fallen heroes, not releasing war criminals.

NYT: I didn't know there were any government jobs that guaranteed all of these things.

Thanks for the post, TomCat. Have a peaceful Memorial weekend.
