Here are the results of our “Impeach Barrf?” Poll. Politics Plus Polls are not scientific, because those who respond are not balanced according to demographic categories. Therefore, we do not accurately reflect the makeup of the US population. Nevertheless, our polls are usually factually accurate, and more often than not, they reflect thinking of the majority of those who actually do think.

TC, I am on the same page with you on this. It actually worries me a little that so many people seem to assume that impeachment will remove someone from office. In fact, historically, NO impeachment has EVER resulted in conviction. I grant that Nixon't MIGHT have been, but, because he resigned, we cannot know that - and it very well might have failed. I'm not in favor of waiting to vote this regime out - but Congress does have tools other than impeachment which can be used, do not depend on conviction by the Senate, and will work.

If people (everywhere) would just stop saying "Impeach" and start saying "Impeach AND CONVICT" instead, I think the quandary would have a better chance of remaining in sight.

RESIST AND PERSIST!

Barr-f should not be only impeached, he should be kicked out of office hard enough to land in the middle of a privately-run prison so he can spend the rest of his life enjoying bad food, inadequate medical care, and the tender mercies of guards with sh*tty attitudes because they are overworked and underpaid.

Whatever it takes, just get these cronies out and locked up with long prison terms.
Then we can get our country'back in the direction it should be. We've had enough of this crap
Thanks TomCat

If the House would at least try that would send a message. It doesn't matter what the Senate does, but it would give them something to do since they do nothing else. If Articles are sent they MUST hold a trial, so send them Articles on all who are obstructing, hold the hearings and make the Senate accountable to the people. Even just that sends a message to the American people that some are trying. As it is the House just looks weak. And that will not play well in 2020 no matter what Pelosi and senior members think. They risk the majority they just won by sitting on their hands. Its saddening. I remember how effective the Watergate hearings were, if they'd do even that much it would help. The DNC is of no help, as usual. They seem determined to ride this out, not honoring their own oath in a way equally as irresponsible as Drumpf dishonors his.

Too bad we can't make it happen. Barr should be impeached. He isn't for the people, he is Agent Orange's personal attorney.
