In 1939, Congress passed the Hatch Act. In simple terms, it states that government employees may not engage in political activities, while on the job. In short, when on the taxpayers’ dollar, they work for the taxpayers, not for Republican Reich. Smellyanne Conway, pin-up girl and councilor to the Fuhrer of the Republican Reich, Resident Donald Trump, has violated the Hatch Act so extensively that the Office od Special Council has demanded her immediate dismissal. Trump says no.

Republicans and their double standards! They condemn Democrat misconduct while doing the same things, and usually to a worse extent. The pot calls the kettle black when the pot is a lot blacker.

Like Mr. O’Donnell said, “It’s all the same story, every day.” So true!!

I personally can’t stand her, and while I do happen to hear a few seconds of her commenting about something (lying) on tv, I change the channel. I find her comments flippant, and obnoxious. She should lose her job, or leave. Now!! imho.

Drumpf is now claiming "they're trying to take away her right to free speech". Is this the same guy who tries to get everyone he ever comes into contact with, including White House staff who work for us, to sign a non-disclosure agreement so they won't talk?

What makes this story even more flagrant is that the Special Counsel, Henry Kerner, is a Trump appointee, having taken office on October 30, 2017. But, even though Trump apointed him, he can't stomach KellyAnne's nonsense. I suppose he'll be fired s soon as Trump finds someone to do the firing for him. And then what?

Every veteran is familiar with the Hatch Act, and was required to abide by it. Yet there are still RWNJ veterans who support Orange Judas. Go figure.

Both she and Sarah H. Sanders are glib liars, disrespectful of their jobs and totally untrustworthy!

I like others, can't stand seeing her. Amazes me the way she's acts like tRump and can do no wrong.
Curious what her husband has to say about it, since he's always speaking down of tRump?
Plus with him being an lawyer and knows the laws.
Thanks TomCat

I agree with Bill K.

Surely she is totally aware of what she's doing. Her husband, being an attorney, must warn her about it as well.

Smellyanne--yes and stinks to high heavens. It's like watching a bunch of 1950's playground nanny-nanny snot noses in rerun episodes of -- Elementary School Crypt Keepers and The Putrids. Thinking any moment Lurch will open the White House door to say "you rang?" While Herman, Uncle Fester, Lily, Eddie, Thing, et al will come running out with Betelgeuse and Flying Monkeys down the driveway. Some kind of weird farce and folly show. . .

Some version of that is present in most states and local governments too. She should be fired. But then Trump thinks HE is above the law too and so by extension his employees. She's a disgusting person who hated him before she went to work for him. Nearly as good a liar as he is. I hope when sanity comes to Washington again, and it will, that these flagrant criminals will all be prosecuted. That's the American system at work. Not this political chicanery that is passing for an administration.

Yesterday, Trump blamed the Democrats for not protecting our elections - when it is McConnell who refuses to bring any bill doing so to the floor of the Senate. Which Trump knows. The only thing the Senate is doing is confirming judges who aren't qualified to judge a go cart race, let alone anything else. This is the worst damage Trump has done to America, the results will last for decades. He plans to announce his candidacy next week, but he filed for reelection two hours after the inauguration, I've seen the documents. I just wish the House would get on with the hearings, so much talk, so little action. It's almost as if they want him to steal another election. I just want everything he did exposed (most have not read the Mueller report, many members of Congress have not either, republicans at least) and out in the open air before the 2020 elections. I'd think sane progressives would want that too. It's too bad there aren't many in Congress.
