The savings in outsourced and off-shore labor goes to increased profits not consumer savings and they have become addicted and accustomed to increased profits as their due all the time now.

It is the old colonial dominance system under local governments but still controlled for them and the rich elite of the world. The ruling Billionaires and their think tanks think us into the wealth storage tanks.

We need to move beyond capitalism to an economic system that benefits all while sustaining the environment. We all need to be happier with less, reduce our carbon footprints. What with climate change and valuable resources in peril of becoming scarce, we will have to do all that.

No, Communism is not the only alternative. We can have free enterprise, but properly and reasonably regulate it so people can make their fortunes without shafting their employees or wrecking the environment.
