Working to make going nuclear an acceptable form of insanity. Weapon systems have an overpower urge to be used that just keep on going like the little bomb that couldn't trying to be one that could.

The fear of the terrible consequences of using these weapons has prevented their use .If there was an atomic war there would be no winners, there would be total annihilation. The world leaders well realize that and have no wish to self destruct to defeat another nation. Even the cockroaches wouldn't survive ww3.
