Five questions parents must ask to ensure they're being met, health issues that affect teenagers--from acne to eating disorders. Teens have to make a lot of choices on their own, and it helps to have a doctor they trust.

I have no teens in my household (sigh...BIG thank you!) but I do recall vividly those turbulent teens and my daughter--and most of her age mates--continuing to see her pediatrician well into her teens. Finally, I found a young female savy and stylish doctor who I knew my daughter would quickly bond with. She did have some specialized training, but nothing like that presented here. Trust between patient and doctor is paramount at any age. Thanks, Kathy!
