Article:

Marisa Rosenfeld, an unaffiliated voter from Charlotte, joked that she "fit the profile" of a Clinton supporter. The real estate broker, consultant and writer originally supported Bill Richardson but is now committed to Clinton.

"When I felt she was being treated badly, by the media mostly, it resonated with me as a woman professional," she said. "I have gone through this so many times."

Local travel agent Phyllis Burruss, 58, is an African American who said she gets questioned about her support for Clinton "all the time."

"She's a strong person," she said, "a good leader."

Dyson is known for televised verbal sparring with husband Michael Eric Dyson, author, professor and Obama supporter. It's not a show for the cameras. "We are quite committed to our candidates," Dyson said.

"People underestimate the woman," she said of Clinton, "her loyalty, authenticity, real concern for the people."

Dyson defended Clinton's vote authorizing the Iraq war, a stand that's hurt her with Democratic voters. "If 9-11 had hit the Sears Tower" in Chicago, she said, Obama "would have had the same sentiment and concern Senator Clinton had for her native New York."

She compared the primary struggle with a sports practice among team members before facing a tough opponent.

"You have to hit them hard."

But the program ended with a soft touch, a personal endorsement from childhood friend Ebeling.

She said the former captain of the crossing guards has "the qualities you want in a friend."

"The world needs a friend."

A tough and tender Clinton, with help from her friends, is covering all the bases, hoping women voters will bring her home.

Great post Kathy. Hillary does want America back on its feet, and she does want to help bring prosperity back to the nation's people. Thank you, Kathy.
