Shortly after sunrise Friday morning, 12 endangered Amargosa voles raised at the University of California in Davis were set free in the waist-high grass at a spring-fed marsh near the tiny town of Tecopa, about 90 miles west of Las Vegas.

A most important important milestone Chris! How wonderful!!! I wish you and the precious voles continued success...Interesting to see what happens as their tracked for a few months. Already reproducing, I also wish them a full life and many family members to come!
