Early Warning: The only individuals who will attack this post with insults and self-protectionism rhetoric are those few dwindling by the day hardcore pro-Obama camp hold-outs, so take their whining, moaning and complaining criticisms with a severe grain of salt!!!

Some of these said types of people are scared to death of losing their illusive pipe-dream of 'Hope & Change' and they would much prefer their more comfortable Nazi-style brand of applying censorship upon the Free Press, so this is unfortunately to be expected during the course of the coming comments, as this article heads toward the Care2 News Front-page.

Please remember that everyone has the right to harbor their own personal political opinion, so we must be civil to those behind-the-times lost souls!

Show pity upon them, for they do not know what they do.

Vote for anyone you like in Election 2012 ...

EXCEPT FOR PRESIDENT OBAMA and his brand of questionable 'at best' stagnated national gridlock!!!!!

So please let everyone have their say regarding the candidate of their choice for Election 2012.

I will put my bid in for:

Green Party's Liberal Candidate Dr. Jill Stein for U.S. President 2012 - Homepage

It has already been documented that Obama is continuously using the Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld 'wartime' playbooks right down the line, so why didn't George W. Bush Jr. get a Nobel Peace Prize too????

President Obama acts just like a Republican at times, just lining His own pockets with our hard-earned money through which he gets kick-backs (of that I am certain!) from the Lobbyists and Special Interest Groups operating in tandem with his Chicago cronies!

So what's the big difference between Obama and the Republicans???

That's right = NO DIFFERENCE!!!

Just some mind-provoking food for thought here!

I agree the the GOP is the best campaign for Obama! I am a lifelong Dem, but, I will not vote for Obama again. What a disappointment - so many things have gone down the tubes with Obama in the White House. The unfortunate thing - NOT ONE GOP CANDIDATE IS WORTH VOTING FOR AND IS PROBABLY WORSE THAN OBAMA! You would have thought the Repugs could have come up with someone decent, moral, honest, etc. and taken advantage of this situation, but, NO! They are dumber than snot, and could care less about the people of this country! I will vote Independent or do write ins. It is time to ditch the parties and become Americans again - the party system is why we have this mess in the White House and in Congress. I would urge everyone to do the same - break the party hold and vote independent. Trump has finally broken with the GOP, best decision he ever made and perhaps he will run as an Independent. We can hope. Otherwise, Bozo the Clown is a better choice than Obama or anyone of the GOP challengers!

Check out Americans Elect. Its plan is not to create a third party but to use the internet to choose a presidential candidate from any party (who will in turn have to pick a running-mate from a different one) and put this non-partisan ticket on the ballot in every state. The outfit has already collected more than 2m of 3m or so signatures it will need to satisfy every state’s ballot requirements.

Yeah, we've seen the GOP vision of Hell on Earth being revealed in Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio leading the way to the end of Democracy... As long as corporations rule the planet, we are up sh*t creek no matter which party wins.

Well, thanks for the laughter that so brightened my day.

The Republicans would have done sooooooo much better on the economy over the last few years, right? That's as in the Republicans who's policies got us into this mess in the first place and have have only hardened in opposition. The party that likes to say "yes" to huge corporations while taking money away from the country's many poor people. Those people, right?

Please. Spare me.

BO -- undoubtedly unchallenged deserving of the Nobel Prize of HYPOCRISY, and lackey and bootlicker of his moneyghivers-- *needs* to be defeated -- nearly as much as most (ie. all i've seen mentioned of until now) other candidates.

It's the $Y$TEM -- a system which allowes ONLY totall-morally/ethical-corrupt people into power -- that needs to be overcome -- as anyone with IQ>75 not living under a rock in a cave would probably see.

DEFEAT CAPITAL-FASCISM (before it defeats humankind + most of Earth's living communities) !!

The only things you should be spending your energy on is defending democracy; There are 3 Major Threats.

1...'Citizens United' [The Republicans support this] Our politicians will be totally owned by corporations.

2...SOPA & PIPA [Censorship for the internet under the guise of patent protection] The Arab Spring would not have happened without the internet. The 'occupy' movement needs the internet. We, at Care2, need the internet.
This is the way the corporations stop us from organizing and learning the truth. Do you all know that the big 3, CBS,NBC & ABC did not report the demonstrations that filled the streets of NYC & SF in protest against these measures ? They only reported that Wikipedia went black in protest. i had to read it in email.

3...The new 'Detention' law for any unspecified amount of time. This will be used against the 'occupy' protesters and any others like the 'close you account with a big bank' movement. Wait..if this stands...anyone protesting the polutioin of water, like fraking or the Tar Sands Pipeline, will also be held. Maybe not under Obama, much do you trust Newt? He wants war with Iran. So does John McBain [evidenced by his singing of 'bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran' to the tune of 'Barbara Ann'. What do you think They would do with protesters of That War?

We need to stop censorship. Please go to : to sign a petition and get listed to support a filibuster against these bills.

I never claimed Obama was an angel, he is from that although he has made me happy in the week because of the KeYstone XL project (for now) Obama came in here having to clean up Bush's MESS and the GOP would certainly make an even bigger mess (mark my words) if I don't vote Obama I will vote GREEN party but NEVER will I vote GOP! This time around they are all just PURE EVIL!!

Jon T (59)

Not going to comment on the politics of Obama, any of the current GOP candidates etc but found it interesting that the originator thought it appropriate to start a thread by basically saying anyone who disagrees is a Nazi, that they are a behind the times lost soul - and that everyone is entitled to their own view. Nice opening gambit - and no contradiction there then!

Jon T (59)

What is really neded of course is a democratic electoral system, sadly like us in the UK you are stuck with a system that almost ensures a two party duopoly. Our third main party made a breakthrough into a coalition government for this term but the referendum to shift to a slightly more democratic system got voted down through some disgraceful misrepresentation supported by the paymasters of the right.

Ok Mindy, so what u r saying is, NO redumblicans or Obama..we should all go Green? If that is the case, that's great but no need to be so hateful about Obama, he is doing the best he can and whether Obama or a GP gets elected, things will not change overnight (I imagine it's not an easy job to be POTUS) Bush effed up bad, real bad and he has done some really good things not just for this country but other countries(Hussein and that other abomination) which were a threat to us. I understand feeling passionate about things, believe me, I am a rabid activist for animals and the environment but we should have a little more respect for the POTUS, like him or not.

Ok Maryann, there is only extreme disappointment and political frustration, but I believe Obama IS NOT the one, so please enlighten us with a complete list of President Obama's successes that demand our immediate attention toward reevaluation ... We are all waiting for that one!!

But in the meantime while Maryann assembles her amazing fact list from reliable sources, we shall all continue on course: =======>

President Obama's 2012 'State of the Union' Address tonight is most definitely ...

It will obviously be more of a Campaign 2012 set-up, rather than for producing any viable actual facts contained therein.

Yeah right, vote for Obama if you want some more 'same of the same' and 'business as usual' alright (add sarcastic sneer here!).

OK PInk, I'll take you on. Please go to, look up President Obama, see what he has done, what he has tried to do, what's in the works, and what were "pants on fire" lies. Then YOU come back here and try to say how awful Obama is. Better yet, go to Obama's web site, under Promises Kept, another eye-opener for you. Obama has been hog tied by the thugs in the republiCON party, you know, the "job creators", the social misfits? I would not, could not, EVER vote for anyone in the GOP. Obama 2012!!

If you want a man devoted to the Constitution, will stop the endless wars and take action against the FED yoke of debt, then look to Dr. Ron Paul. Perfect no...but not a sellout to the 1% (the only one in the bunch, including Pres. Obama).

You have a choice to continue war and massive debt...or vote for Dr. Paul. Follow the money people, Ron Paul is NOT owned by the wealthy and he will make changes that benefit Main Street America.

"few dwindling by the day hardcore pro-Obama camp hold-outs"

Ahhhh ha ha ha ha ha...

The truth? Bush and the republicans sent our debt out of control. Only taxing the rich again would bring back the money needed and the REPUBLICANS will not allow that.

MindyShill, are you really THAT ignorant? Because I can NOT believe any one can be so stupid...really!

When will "your people" bring the site down again?

Who exactly would be the Superhero to swoop in and fix these things, Pink? No one from the GOP, that's for sure. They got us into this mess in the first place. Get corporate payola and corruption out of politic, until that happens, we'll keep going deeper down the sh*tter.

Everyone can make a 'pitch' for whomever candidate that they wish to endorse here on this comment line, however I have already done so in Comment #8 above.

RE: Green Party's Liberal NEW Candidate Dr. Jill Stein For U.S. President 2012.

There will be NO 'Hope & Change' until Americans disregard their personal broken-down two party belief system and band together in mass under a Green Third Party leader ... In my opinion.

Ron Paul for President 2012. My support is for him and ONLY him. Not Obama, not Gingrich, not Romney, and most CERTAINLY not that pathetic piece of wretched human trash Santorum. Democrats and Republicans are BOTH absolutely corrupt, and couldn't care less about our country. They BOTH share blame in ruining the economy, failing miserably at controlling the borders, starting unconstitutional wars with countries whose conflicts have absolutely nothing to do with us, and expanding the government's control over everyone's lives. If Ron Paul doesn't get the GOP nomination, we will be forced to pick between Obama and somebody who will in all likelihood be just as bad or even WORSE than Obama.
