So why should we Americans even attempt to listen to this continuously driveling bag of empty campaign promising rhetoric, that will obviously come streaming from our TV sets, as they telecast just another hijacked 'State of the Union' Address tonight???

I quite agree John!!!

President Obama's 2012 'State of the Union' Address tonight is ...

It will obviously be more of a Campaign 2012 set-up, rather than for producing any viable actual facts contained therein.

If they reported the actual 'State of the Union', then it would read ...

Highly questionable circumstances, massive gridlock and with mostly desperate conditions that certainly lie ahead at best!!

An amazing 43+ article recommends in just one hour after posting this on Care2 News Network ...

And yet only 4 Care2 Notes, so therefore it would appear that most of the Care2 viewers are not in-sync with the mainstream trend ...

In other words: There are still many Care2 members who are holding onto their illusive and inept pipe-dream of 'Hope & Change' through Obama being 'The Chosen One', however ...

I have personally run into many many more Care2 Members who are afraid to confront the hardcore Liberal and hardcore Democrat regime that bullies other members on Care2!!!

Those same bullies would much rather defend their non-defensible Pro-Obama position and further defend a Nazi-style regime of forced CENSORSHIP, rather than face the truth of their chosen political disgrace.

You cannot hide from reality forever!!!

How could America even possibly survive this type of national stagnation for 4 More Years???

Can you say: Lame Duck & Gridlock?

I knew you could!

NO excuse is good enough to feel forced to vote for Barack Obama in Election 2012, well not anymore that is, because Obama has been lining his pockets with our hard-earned tax payer dollars via Lobbyists, Special Interest Groups and even through Republican arrangements on the sly.

And all along an unfair and imbalanced mainstream press is still protecting this corrupt Chicago-style administration, but remember Richard Nixon's Watergate, so this protected Obama delusion will not last forever!

he should be packing if you ask me!!!!!!!!!! I read some of the stuff he has had to say and its all old news to me, things that were said 4 years ago that never happened. We need someone new, would be nice if we got someone that was for the people!!!!!!!!

As current President, I'd say he has the right to sort of promote his agenda. It just seems that he is good at the campaign part of things, but once he gets the job it goes away. So this new talk about things that are needed I think is too late for some, includes myself.

Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. I do not see the Republicans as an option either. So my guy is not with either party....

What else could you possible expect from Chicago "Home of the Epic Failure"???

Watch an angry and extremely disappointed group of Liberal demonstrators publicly list their grievances and demands directly to President Obama, which is all going on right outside an important 'Chicago' fundraiser in front of the University of Illinois ...

"Occupy Chicago Protests Obama At Fundraiser - Video @ Care2 News

Hey, my current posted article here on Care2 is also from the Chicago Tribune too ...

So I don't think Obama is so much very welcome in his political hometown of Chicago any longer!!!

noted. I agree with Dandelion. Obamination is wonderful while on the campaign trail. However, once he got it...he spent more time traveling, etc and not getting the job done.

the last presidential election that I was able to vote in, I voted for Gore, we all know how that turned out.Tbere are no good choices, and I fail to trust the electoral college scenario.

I'm inclined to agree with Dandelion. While Obama hasn't been very effective, I am even more terrified of the Republican candidates. It's always a choice between 2 evils. But I am also afraid an Independant won't be able to take the election away from the two miserable parties. Where does that leave us?

I fear their will be no specifics and a lot of vision, butI hope he has a teleprompter, otherwise he will be incoherent. It will probably be more of "Pass my plan", "Pass my plan", "Pass my plan" ....

The address will give both supporters and opponents a window into what he will attempt in his next four years. It voters wise up and give him a majority in the House and a filibuster proof Senate he just might be able to fulfill his promises and visions for America in the next four years. If they don't then we will be in for another four years of obstructionists politics because after the attacks by the republicans around the country that were put in office in 2010 the people clearly understand that republicans do not have the middle class and poor in mind, but rather corporations and the wealthy. It really doesn't matter who the republican nominee is because all of the current crop of right wingers have too much negative baggage; Romney's wealth and taxes along with his ties to Bain Capital and Gingrich has his overt racism and his ethics problem that forced him out of politics and his lobbing for Freddie Mac. Paul is also a racist and he's an isolationist with no support within mainstream republicans. Santorum is a one issue candidate that virtually no one in the republicans' vast array of donors is willing to give money to or create a super PAC for.

Obama will be reelected; the question is will he have a working Congress or be saddled with another obstructionist Congress?

Noted. I myself would like the polls closed in protest of both Repubilican and Democrat! I think it's all conspired partisanship. And with or without the backing of congress..he's done a bad job all on his own.

Obama has destroyed the economy of the country and created two class that is rich becoming richer their is no middle class but only poor this will lead to further disaster unless he stop following WAR criminal Bush policies and stop all wars and call forces back home other wise the country goes down the drain

Who really destroyed the US economy was Bush, not easy for Obama to fix the Country after being left with such dismal prospects as he faced.OK,he's made mistakes and gone back on some of his promisses but I will not be the one who throws the first stone.Mitt and Newt are not capable of doing anything better and with a inactive Congress and Senate you have a big hill to climb.

This comment is being posted as a prime example of what might lie ahead for the United States!

We can expect nothing less than some more 'same of the same' perpetual national gridlock with an endless disgraceful display of finger-pointing and blame-storming ... If President Obama is re-elected for 4 More Years, and that would spell the end of America to be cast in stone forever!!!

I'm sorry but I am a realist. Yes, I wish we did not have a two party system; and now the superpacs make it impossible for others to even compete. Blame the Supreme Court for that one; which I might add is stacked with conservatives. I rather a dozen Obama's than one GOP mad man. Not perfect, but he at least he is more reasonable than Newt or Romney who would just gut the EPA, Dept. of Education, etc and take every last resource they can get their hands on. It's all about money, they could care less about environmental issues. And I did like Obama's speech.

You keep saying "Obama must not win...", but the reality is he will. My voting green party and your endless whining will not make it any different. He's going to win because we are trapped by a two party cabal and because the Republicans don't have anyone who can beat him. So, chant "Obama must not win" all you want and all it does is make you look like a fool and a hack. He's going to win. I'm not voting for him; and obviously you aren't voting for him...but make no mistake: he's going to win.

Brian, you and I have opposing opinions in regard to the needs of America via Election 2012 ...

If you are correct, then you had better start pulling your personal money out of the bank ...

However in either case, I don't believe ... in my opinion that our nation will economically survive President Obama ( and the previous Bush administration combined) any further than Oct-Nov 2012.

I have opinions and you have opinions too Brian, but I believe that you are just protecting Obama and hating Republicans, which does not constitute logical clear thinking ... In my humble opinion.

Question: Now what did Obama fail to talk about last night during the 'State of the Union' Campaign 2012 speech???

Reporting an opposing view is rude and hateful huh? ... Oh well!

Now let US ponder what is was that President Obama 'didn't say' last night:

What? You can't deal with a even a little truth telling? You still living inside your ideological bubble that never lets you accept the overwhelming evidence that you screwed up, that nothing you say makes any sense and only leads to systemic failure?

Well, buck up, my friends. You can always go to a Tea Party rally and fantasize that you live in 1780 and tri-cornered hats are all the rage. Just remember, though, that the right to bear arms means muskets and flintlocks.

It's always somebody else's fault. And it's always hooray for our side.
The problem with America is that we have become so &&&& divided that we can't get anything done.

Hope and change turned out to mean the status quo. Obama may not be stellar, but then again, look across the aisle at our options there... It's going to be more of the same, and probably even worse. Ron Paul 2012, the only way to have radical change is to try a radical solution!
