Anyone but a staunch Teapublican likely comprehends that any iteration of the GOP has become a threat to Americans -- except the rich and the fanatic. No matter who they're hurting, or how, they seem bent on hurting America as much as possible.

Honestly people, if you care about the fate of the planet, of society, if you are for equality and the rights of people, if you are or wish to be a free thinker, take heed of this warning.

It isn't just their climate change denial, their denial of science and their insistence that medical fact means nothing compared to their screwy "beliefs." It's the outcomes that will result from that level if willful, deliberate idiocy.

If nothing else, think about what happened in Flint. And in Detroit. Think what happened to women's health care in Texas. When ideologues take over and put their own beliefs above and ahead of actual PEOPLE, it's the people who suffer.

Ted Cruz wants to wipe out gays and transsexuals. He wants to bomb countries off the map without even knowing where they are. And he wants to commit all this mayhem and destruction in the name of God and Christianity. You would have to be insane to agree with this kind of "final solution" thinking.

There aren't many good qualities associated with Republicans, other than self-interested egoism.

Chomsky, as always, hits the nails on the head.

They don't work seriously, as they are interested only to exploit the different situations for their own interests. They are based on an electorate not appropriately knowledgeable..

Sometimes I suspect they know full well what they're doing but don't give a s#it, because they know they'll be dead before the climate/economy fall apart completely.

Actually, we do need the obvious stating, because a lot of Americans are too dumb to wake up and realize Republicans and Capitalism is a threat to a healthy country and democracy.

Sure their politics is crazy, what they can do once elected is another matter. They can reap and distribute enormous benefits to their clientele as for bombing everyone and so on the think tanks have long term plans and goals that are bipartisan. Each side plies their verbal trade to get elected at any cost. Some interest group likely play then back and forth like fiddle. They will fight their own agenda for show as long as they know it wont pass anyway. They can get approval to change their votes to look good to their constituents as long as their party knows it makes no difference. Elections are showtime extravaganzas of pandering to voters emotional buttons.
