This can be an extremely controversial subject but I agree with rather exploring alternative methods due to the finality of the death sentence and the forever present 'human error'. Life without any possibility of parole in a working colony where you are not only contained successfully but have to work to support yourself and the environment in which society is 'forced' to keep you is a much better and humane option.

Death penalty does not belong to a civilized society. The truth is that countries who do not have it, have lesser capital crimes.

I think that it is just wrong to be killing anything, it makes me cringe to think that the ones that are performing these executions have any conscience at all, how many innocent people are incarcerated? there is no way, no way this should be a form of punishment. Do they really think they are teaching the accused / innocent a lesson? who do they think they are fooling. Thank you all for your comments.

Honestly, some people out there deserve to be executed. Dont tell me the world would have accepted to put Hitler in some solitary prison or whatever, not enough not enough not enough, some people just have to be killed for all their crimes. Call me cruel and uncivilized, I dont care, I'm just being realistic.

TY Mrs Shakespeare for your comments and views,I don't think that anyone here is going to call you cruel or uncivilized, you to have a right to your opinions weather anyone agrees or disagrees with you. Thanks again for your input. :-)

After all these years, centuries even, that death-penalty exsists, crime hasn't diminished in those countries who practise it.

Doesn't that learn us something?

Death penalty is just inefficient, useless, expensive, cruel and inhumane.

Thanks Dana.
