Thousands of Afghan girls and boys are trafficked into neighboring countries and sold into slavery each year. Though it is taboo, prostitution is alive and thriving - at the cost of those forced to work in it.

The invasion / occupation has not helped women and children. Some are left widows / orphans and are very vulnerable.

not surprised, but not unexpected when women are only considered valuable for being sexual objects or mothers......not for intelligence, thought, and all the other things women can and do....
