Target: CongressI am starting this petition because I am sick of seeing convicted sex offenders being let into our communities after a short sentence, some ineffective treatment that statistics and the news stories clearly show don't work because:

As a former child victim I think they should be neutered and executed.

Could we start with all the upper class vermin who ritualistically and generationally think it's a wonderful idea to abuse their kids and others? It's not just the Blairs and the Bushes it's everywhere. It's more common than you think. How soon we forget fiascoes scuh as Lincoln, Nebraska and Boys Town.

Signed BUT, let's acknowledge that there are degrees of "sex offenses" from violent rape, pedophilia, varying degrees of statutory consensual sex to being caught with your pants down taking a pee late at night when a toilet is not to be found. Let the punishment fit the crime and but lets not have one of these blind "Zero Tolerance" idiotic knee jerk reactions and paint everybody with the same brush.

Lets start by getting rid of judges that think rape is just boys being boys.

Disturbing statistics. But what about the 18yr old who has sex with a 17yr old friend and then is branded as a sex offender for the rest of his life even if the 17yr old is the one who initiated it? Should they be treated the same as someone who did something much worse?

I signed and I agree with this author that something major needs to be done about this. It has gotten out of hand, and the government favors the offender over the female victims. If they didn't they'd have done something about this a long time ago. As long as the GOP and their sick constituents are in power, nobody is ever going to put these monsters where they belong--in prison with a warning that they just might lose their willies.

Sexual abuse of a child is pedophilia, rape of an adult woman is rape. Rape of an underage girl who is unable to say no because she is inebriated or drugged is rape. Not real hard to differentiate. Sex between two underage kids with both being consenting is not rape nor should it be considered rape if the young girl is 17 and her boyfriend is 19 and both are consenting do I consider that rape! However when the girl is 14 and her teacher is 47 years old, you better believe that is rape and one day in jail for the rapist is a rape of the young girls memory. She committed suicide and I hold the rapist and the judge equally responsible for the needless death of this innocent girl. The low life rapist is considered a low risk repeater. Really? With such light sentencing he is a major risk, his punishment if you can call it that is not going to be a deterrent to him or other like scum. Just this week a British judge considered a 13 year old girl as being sexually predatory against an adult man who makes his living as a pornographer. By the way I mention girls, but am all too aware it is both girls and boys who are abused and raped! The catholic priesthood is a poster group for those pedophiles. I pray that SANE, RATIONAL LAWS ARE LEGISLATED AND ENFORCED now! And sadly in many cases, especially in dealing with pedophiles, the younger their victims are the law for them should be a sentence of life in jail! Their recidivism rate is 100% and no therapy, medicine or castration will change that fact, they are no different than serial killers. They are hard wired that way! Within the past year one 90 year pedophile and one 100 year pedophile were jailed. They both had been jailed and released multiple times and let out to hurt more innocent children. How effed up is that? Average number of victims per pedophile 150. And it does cross all socio economic as well as ethnic groups.
