Noted with anger the Cleric should have also been sentenced for his outrageous Fatwa.

It amazes me that murder and rape don't seem to bring shame, yet a daughter can be killed for singing with a man. I understand that there are customs, but shouldn't people try to make sense of their customs and understand the why and not just blindly follow them?

There is a saying "honor among thieves" I suppose it can also be said for murderers. This is outrageous behavior custom or not.

The court stood up for the murdered men, but what about the five women who where murdered too?

Birgit is right - no penalty for the women's murders? And unless this is publicized widely, it will have no impact on the fatwa-loving leaders.
